Coming back to the game after some time off, its kinda sad seeing the other forums dead, and this one slowly dwindling away, so I want to start a Steam group to revive (or keep alive) SK. We could plan events, lotteries, special excursions, maybe stuff like the Shopping List (hunt for mats) and things of the kind. Tell me if you'd be interested in joining something of the kind.

We could have a group on either one. The thing is,
1. I already have a guild, so cant really create one to manage the group
2. Steam groups can send anouncments, and also advertises the game to friends the members have/ the community
3. We could do a forum group, but meh.

I think it would be fun if you actually did make a guild for this. So many people are staying in their old, dead guilds for nostalgia, but it makes it really hard to get a good and active guild with decent players. And because of that, you are either playing the game always with the same people, or nobody is even online at the times you feel like logging in and play a mission, so you end up not playing at all. I am not very active myself, but I would probably join a guild like that, so that when I do feel like going on a mission or something, there are a couple players online who feel like doing it with me.

Thanks for actively trying to foster community. That's great.
But I have a question: For your project, what makes a Steam group better than these forums? Do players automatically see their Steam groups whenever they log into Steam? Whereas these forums require logging into a web site separately?
