Simply, just show my crowns/energy on the UI on itself WITHOUT having to open up my arsenal, since my game opens menus really slowly, that element would be really nice. As for a place to put it, maybe under/over your portrait or something...

I remember seeing my crown # increase as I picked them up off the ground, and that was awesome to watch, especially back when other ppl could pick up loot for everyone in the party. It made the game feel slightly more alive. I'm not saying go back to that, just mentioning that watching it was enjoyable.
But yes, the screenshot issue Fangel mentions is one of the reasons this information should not be exposed by default. Some people don't care, others definitely do, and it is sensitive personal information.
I almost always say "user toggles" are the best solution to most UI problems, even if they might be awful to code.
Energy and crowns used to be displayed outside of the arsenal, but people would censor them in screenshots to avoid beggars from contacting them and begging for money.
I understand the desire for such, but it was changed away for a reason.
