CE price used to be below 5k when I started this game and now look at the current CE price...
It's too high and it should be decreased somehow.

We just need to get more CE in the market. At that point prices will lower. Either that or get a better, consistent crown sink.

Bit of a rough patch for CE
Bit of a rough patch for CE indeed; a Tortodrone or Black Kat event may also help fix it temporarily.
The general trend for CE in times where the game doesn't get content updates is for it to increase, there's little to do about it, it just reflects the players' interest in the currency, which is not a whole lot just now.
