Basil has constantly crossed me, appearing in his safehaven of depth 13 (it's 13 isnt it?) offering goods, only to sell me nothing. I don't mean he has nothing on offer, I mean whatever he is selling is impossible to purchase. Recipes all aplenty, wise owlite, drake scale shield, cryometer, vile striker. whatever it is, whatever I want, whatever I dont have - he dangles it in front of me and tells me its not for sale.

Sure, once or twice is fine, a glitch, something that is rare, almost never happens, that's cool... but this has to be the 8th+ time its happened to me when I've seen something on the list I want/need.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue where Basil is being ... a bad salesman?
Any known "fixes", as much as I doubt there is something a player can do on this end - cup of cement not included.

I'd get started on Oilings and Shivermists, but this isn't as such the right thread for it.
