Some may know about them, but others may not. Let me elaborate:
There are five buttons of note, one with a green target sign, another with a yellow warning sign, another is blue with a running person, a purple question mark, and a gray circle with arrows leading to the epicentre.
Essentially, what this is for is to communicate with teammates faster. Activating a ping, you can place either on any point on the level, or the minimap. This would be available for both PvP and PvE.
What do you think?
Tactical Pings for communicating with teammates
Are you talking about the pings like in League of Legends?
I can't imagine it being that useful in PvE
-There's a chat box
-You'll be pretty close to each other ( party buttons )
-PvE is pretty casual, you dont really need to save the extra half a second by pinging instead of typing
For LD, if the full map was displayed on the top right, it might be useful.
-If you're going to need to pull out the full expanded minimap, you'll have a good idea of what's going on anyway
(If dots are disappearing, there are enemies there. If a place just got captured, there're enemies there etc)
-There's also a chatbox
I too think of league pings, but I don't think it would work with SK mechanics. Mainly because you can't scroll around on the map and place pings in places that you personally are not at and that just kinda removes the purpose of them. At least that's what I think.
Are you referring to the numpad quick commands? Such as /attack, /defend, etc?
If so having there be a small version that is marked on the map (minimap and expanded minimap) would be amazing. /attack, /defend, /wait, and whatever the interest one is could be a stationary position, /followme and /helpme would follow the player who used them.
If you're meaning something different giving me a file location or when they're activated would be alright.
