i have it on steam and it meets the requirements but when ever i click play it makes a full screen window that's all black then it exits can anyone help me with this problem?

Open that thread and read it. Follow those instructions to find out what your graphics card is, what your Java version is and tell me what your operating system and router are.
Once I've got all that info, we can start troubleshooting your problem. :)

my computers a maze and i have no idea how to find this stuff but what i do kno is that i have XP,the latest java and the memory the other stuff i don't know how to find.

i know it sounds stupid but i know a computer programmer and he put together this computer but i was impatient and thought someone here could help faster then he could but if he can't fix it then i'll remember how he got there put what i see/saw and then maybe we can fix it.....
