A lot of players end up asking this question. You can find lots of threads by searching Google for things like vanaduke gun site:forums.spiralknights.com.
You can do the whole thing with Blitz, although the few gun puppies and jellies would be tedious. Nova/Storm Driver are powerful and fun. Iron Slug/Callahan are powerful and fun. Cheers.

Blitz needle is basically all you'll use for the actual Vanaduke fight. Aside from that just bring whatever elemental gun you feel most comfortable using. Drivers, arcana, mixmaster, tortofists, they'll all function to help you kill the slags about the same.
Polaris is the next best thing for soloing and crowd controlling in FSC, gotta love the push backs you get on those filthy slag zombies and the occasional gun puppies. Pair it up with the blitz needle and you should be able to handle most threat in FSC.
