It's been 5 years, and because of the way SK's forever locked costumes and may as well still be locked accessory system works, items can go extinct or disappear completely. Call it being wishful that they see an honest re-release after all this time, but post items you think really just don't exist.

For example:

*Hunter Items - first recolor promo. Horrible 45% odds of even getting a recolor, and nobody liked the color back in the day. Also it was during the old billing system where it was (I think?) 1 box per 10$ spent, which meant less boxes being opened.

*Moorcroft Furniture - furniture items are locked in Guild Treasury, so accumulating a nice amount to decorate with in an active guild relies on being upper management to actually use and decorate it with. Re-released once, but only years ago.

Feel free to post more specific examples like:

*prismatic scarf - not in any of the new lockbox item rotations, and iron lockboxes are non-replenishable

AFAIK I haven't seen another person with a Twinkle Aura, so I might be one of the few who still has one. (I attached it to my Spiral Cuirass because I was a ⑨ back then)

It's part of game monetization

The company needs this subset of items to exist, otherwise you wouldn't be buying alternatives that don't satisfy your end goal. It's an intentional part of game monetization utilized to get the players to stay in game and back inherent value.

That being said, it's been poorly executed on part of the previous administration.

It's a good thing hunter items are nonexistent. The real tragedy is that hallow isn't nearly as rare.

still looking for frenzy sealed pauldrons 1 year going, don't believe anyone found any in the anniversary boxes and only have heard rumors of at least 4 existing. Was really hoping for them in the last flash sale and the anniversary as i have more then enough ce to make a fair offer/ Can only hope for future flash sales since it was one of like 5 1% items from that promo

Are you a beta tester?

Groundbreaker armor was exclusive for beta testers, and at this point of the game, we don't know how many beta testers stuck around to play after so many years. So it's kinda expected, cosmetics however can be gotten at "any time" so long as the prize box promotion for it is up. But yeah, no one else can get Groundbreaker armor anymore.

I still see some groundbreaker guys every now and then. (although semi love/mad I've amassed more hours into this game than most beta people [I want a yellow hardhat])

But yeah some cosmetics are just that rare, Sergal.
Vial Bandoliers are like a >1% item in the new titanium boxes, but nobody opens them that much since CE is only getting more expensive, and the odds favor common old items everyone already has; missed opportunity to introduce an influx of new fashion in all those lock boxes.

Auras like Twilight and Twinkle apparently have been missing from rotation in AH sales. Countless others from promo boxes from years ago also.

If the principle was trying to preserve their value and rarity for 1% box opening players, then it would be nice if there were a expensive F2P way to get rare items too. I'm not talking about 1 featured auction for just 1 item and Supply Depot sales that aren't rotated every hour. Like just leave them on the SD for a while.
