Id like to see some new unique weapon categories entirely. Not just another sword gun or bomb. although they would have to add these categories into already existing stats like sword damage now = melee damage. gun damage now = ranged damage. bomb damage = explosive damage.
Id like to see some bow and arrow type weapons: shoots one arrow quickly at a time, or the longer you charge * draw the bow string* the more arrows you fire * wider spread shot depending on how many arrows*
dual wield daggers that let you shield bump still and block projectiles and light monster attacks, not heavy.
throwing knives
I think a whip item would be really fun. And theres lots of possibilities for different elemental types. the whip charge attack would be a sonic boom. ( start swinging whip in big 360 then quickly snap in opposite direction creating sonic boom)
a caltrops item could be in the explosive category. they would last until theyre triggered.
maybe even another larger pet as a primary weapon, like a hunting wolver. you would have a small weapon to direct its attacks but it would follow you closely, have its own auto attack and special commands for your own swing & charge.
Ill add more ideas later, gotta run for now. you guys have any ideas/suggestions that would fit?
Cool idea. But might have some difficulty putting it into the game with the smaller team. Personally i think a boomerang/glaive weapon would be cool. same three strike attack pattern as the sword, but two or three times the range.
