If you havent noticed, the price of CE has downrocketed (lol) to 5k, and at 5k was a wall of about 800 offers. That has since dropped to about 150 offers. If the 5k offer wall is broken, imagine how much farther and faster the price will drop! prices could possibly fall to the point where diving is profitable again!

A flood of low level players
A flood of low level players means a smaller proportion of the playerbase is high level. That naturally drives the price of crystal energy down. It's a temporary blip, though, as the new players will either get higher level or quit pretty quickly. If you want to buy crystal energy for crowns, then now or at least in the near future is the time to do so, though.

During the descent...
I was able to work the market and make about 700 CE. To be honest, I probably could have made at least half that much in that same time had I been running the depths. THEN, the market hit 4k crowns per 100 CE and then rebounded hard. Lolz... I had to act really quickly to use my crowns and buy back energy to maintain my net profit. I've worked the market going up, but never going down before.
I am guessing it'll stabilize at 5k again for a little while and then the inexorable slow climb will continue...
I agree with Replicant, that we don't need a dozen threads on this. It was pretty amazing to watch that 700+ offers for 5k get chipped away tho'. I can't blame more vocal CE crowd for being excited. :D
