I could make a thread for each topic but instead ill try to keep it short. ( sorry for poor organization haha)
New guild hall items
New NPC guild hall events
Passive guild level bonuses
Guild perks - some added bonus to be unlocked through teamwork and guild wide effort. These bonuses couldnt be too powerful or else it would create a further divide between very large established guilds and smaller guilds. We dont want to make the perks so good you decide to join a high level guild based solely on that.
- guild perk idea: let a small % of all crowns earned from each individual player be collectively added into the guild treasury.
- other ideas could be purely cosmetic rewards. such as reach x level guild unlock x item in guild hall shop.
Tabards & guild crest - Another way to promote a better sense of unity could be to allow each guild to customize their own guilds crest, and have a cosmetic tabard costume that guild members could buy to represent. There could be different versions of the tabard for recruit through GM.
added functionality. actually give us a reason to be inside the hall
- examples: give access to trade chat from within the auction house.
- add pet food machine
- add brinks token vendor
- PVP arena testing grounds.( dueling area) ( Zoned instance with different settings in different rooms similar to the advanced training hall, places where you could test free for all pvp or team combat)
-
guild hall events
- mini boss invasions
- NPC hide and seek
- NPC tag
interactive features, dusty cobwebs need cleaning. can hire npc staff to help. also can hire more event npcs. potential mission/quest lines too. amaro monster hunter questline. ( think this has the largest potential for more content) ( you would get a message in guildchat when an event starts so you dont always have to be camping out ur guildhall waiting around.)
Shadow lair statues!!!!! this would be a really fun endgame goal to achieve with your fellow guildmates :D
items- let us remove and sell furnishings from the guildhall. AND instead of adding ALL the cool fancy guildhall items through promos sell them in infinite quantity via guild hall shop.
have a rare rotation of special furnishings from the guild hall vendor. perhaps these items would be the only remaining soulbound items.
allow us to sell statues too. Guilds working together to build a statue is great, but what if you already have plenty?? Then a whole guild working together to make a great profit would surely add incentive to keep group farming those same boss tokens :D
I'd love to hear your thoughts/opinions/new ideas for these concepts below!
- Rare spawns in guildhall (these would not alert you like the other events and would have top tier goodies like armor/weapons or accessories unique to that rare spawn. A special reward for those faithful or lucky to the hall and more incentive to gather up and spend time together.
- potential limited duration rewards like fully heated unique weapons. (Im thinking longterm incentives to stick around instead of something you can instantly grind for, easily obtain and then be bored of again)
- Guild message board ( A place where gm's / officers can post extra information on guides/events, and a place where members could request recipes and materials) * with clickable links!
- Optional additional guild ranks and renaming of ranks.
- The ability for guildmasters and officers to send a message to all members. ( private mail or whisper)
- Roaming critters. Similar to snipes we could have some little chromalisks or wolver pups running around inside the hall. Some different versions: Shy: would either turn invisible when you get close or run out of reach forever. Mischievous: these ones would follow players around, hiding behind furniture and occasionally pouncing/Sneak attacking.
- Display Case. Similar to the base trophy/statues it would just be the bottom half, you could choose to put one of your items into the display case temporarily. Only the knight that puts the item in could retrieve it. ( it wouldnt actually take it out of your inventory, but it would make it unusable)
Think about having your favorite bomb/shield/sword/helmet or armor displayed :D !!
( updated with more ideas: - Wall mounts: going with the vertical placement idea and trophy stand, Wall mounts! Think ameros hunting lodge style.
& a large glass trophy cabinet. This one could hold multiple items, more of a great collectors item)
- Upkeep return taxes. At the end of the month, or every couple months or so a small percent ( maybe 5-10%) would be returned directly to your treasury.
- Item idea: Grass patches/tall grass ( not potted plants), and the wall ivy.
- More Floor textures in guildhall
- Guild hall item preview. Before you spend 1mill on lights, it would be nice to put them all down and see how they look first, same with any item. Just have an option to put down any item in design mode but when you publish it would disappear.
- Speed pads. Similar to racing games, little strips on the ground that give you a huge movement speed buff while in the guild hall.
- WAR MODE! a couple different options to toggle and enable free for all pvp inside the hall at any location. The gm/officers could disable friendly fire so we could destroy invaders in our guild hall :3
- let us keep the empty prizeboxes from promotional events to use like the christmas present furnishings.
- Guild elevator with hidden secret floors/lairs for different recruit levels
- Guild obstacle course. Similar to the training hall, or perhaps even just an extension. It would let you choose from 3 different terrain types and let you basically design a mini level to test your fellow guildmates and friends. There would be a limited selection to choose from of course and less freedom than an actual level design, but enough to get creative and challenging.
- Better control/more placement options for items in the guild hall. ( Like being able to put a 1 tile item in the middle of 4 tiles, etc)
& vertical placement. let us stack objects ontop of eachother.
- More pre built installed rooms. Just one example: Stables. Knights could choose to display their favorite pet in the guild hall either in the communal pet stables or in their own room wherever they want. There would also be a pet food alchemy machine built into this room.
