Spark of life cap

The problem is that there isn't much end game content other than the few missions and shadow lairs but that's another topic for another day. After a while if you are replaying the same missions, gates etc. you will unintentionally stack up on Spark of life-es (lives?) so I think there should be a cap how many Spark of lives(?) you can use before you are forced to restart the mission.
The way it is right now, you can make a mission infinitely hard, one guy with hundreds of Spark of lives(?) will beat it anyways, even if his gear or skills aren't on par for that mission just because he can spam revive.
What do you think of the idea?

eh

Gonna have to say no. The people who spam revives on hard content won't have hundreds of sparks of life, and the people with hundreds of sparks of lives will be playing harder content without sparking at all (includes shadow lairs).

If I could only use 10 sparks of life per mission, that'd be too much for me. As it stands I have over 1.4k sparks of life simply from running the clockworks, however only difficult event missions ever bring me to use them.

A skilled player won't need to spam sparks of life to beat a mission, and an unskilled player won't have sparks of life to spam to beat a mission. It sort of evens itself out.

It's kind of done on purpose actually. Pretend I'm a casual player, and I'm stuck in T1 because T2 is too hard. So I keep going in T1 because I'm ascared.. at some point I notice I have 40+ sparks of life. So I give T2 a shot because I've mastered T1 and I have so many sparks that there's not much risk of failure. I die a few times but eventually I learn or maybe I don't and I'm not ready. That's how the sparks of life work.
