For anyone who doesn't want to bother watching through my ramblings about slot machine mechanics, the gist of it is that you can press escape to exit the slot machine ui early and spin again almost immediately! If you shield cancel, you might even save a couple extra frames. So far it seems to be pretty useful stuff if the machines are indeed rigged in the player's favor!
