- Ranged melee weapon(s)...

-Whip: maybe 2-3 more blocks of range compared to other swords / melee weapons, can use with a dagger instead of a shield, and with that you can have the ability to pull in your enemies (instead of shield bash) and stab them for maybe a 1 hit kill because you'd have no shield, and / or this weapon could give good a HP bonus.

-More ranged / projectile weapons...

-Sniper rifle: 1 shot kill with 1 shot in the chamber, then cock the bolt (after firing) and can penetrate up to 3, maybe 4 enemies total, but do less damage on the next enemy (1st enemy = dead in one shot, next enemy down to a bit more than half health, next enemy down to half health, etc.).

-Grenade launcher: Can shoot up to four grenades before reloading, but while firing your movement speed is decreased a bit (like some guns already), and the grenades have a 1-1.5 second detonation time, and a small but fair explosion radius, plus a bit of bounce physics to them.

-Shotgun(s): Pump action: holds 2 shots before reloading with a very short pumping animation between shots, shoots 4 small pellets (of course not doing too much damage...individual damage per pellet).

-Automatic shotgun: Kinda like the pump action, except in between shots not as long of a delay (still a delay but no pumping animation of course) and holds 3-4 shots, and less damage per pellet.

-Animated emotes / more animated emotes...

-Kiss animation (blow a 3D, animated kiss) that will be the color of the player's knight and maybe follow the receiving knight and *pop* on them.

-Any other emotes that aren't, and could be, should be animated (such as dancing for example).

-UI (user interface) / HUD (heads up display)...
-Allow us to move things around, such as the HP bar. It'd be nice to move it to the bottom middle of the screen in my opinion, or wherever you want, so it could be a bit easier or faster or more comfortable to check where you want instead of being stuck with one position of an item on the UI / HUD.

Please add any other suggestions you have in mind and thanks for reading.

Meh.
Those weapons... that's too much power in your right hand! Especially the Sniper and Grenade Launcher!

Bad stuff...

As much as twohanded weapons could, possibly, if done right, be a nice feature... Your weapons are way overpowered... ^^
If a sniper-like weapon had a charge attack dealing for example 400 demage to the first, and 200 to those behind. And a standard attack with something like a high demage, slow to load, single bullet before loading system, it may work.

Such a weapon would only be effective agaist crowded enemies though.

Fair enough, but these are

Fair enough, but these are just suggestions. The devs wouldn't have to use these values, instead use values they see fit to spiral knights, so they're not overpowered.

It would be neat to see some kind of shotgun and not too long ranged sniper weapon. ^^

* Granade launchers have to be put to the ground because of the massive recoil. This means you can't move, and due to the upwardsfirering nature of GL's would need some sort of control over where the shots should land. This is not practical in most situations, but when practical would be OP(Wich is why they are still used in war... :P).
* Whip? Everyone to their style I suppose, but as one training martial arts I can't help but to point out the impracticallity of a whip in any other situation than torturing... It's litterally worse than being unarmed...

"-Kiss animation (blow a 3D, animated kiss) that will be the color of the player's knight and maybe follow the receiving knight and *pop* on them."
I love this! ^^
Don't know if most players would use this, but it would be amazing! It may get overused though, which would become insanely annoying.

Thanks for the feedback so far. (And I just wanna mention, a Steam friend and I were talking about Spiral Knights the time I posted this thread...we had a few ideas and we thought these could be possibly fun additions to the game, so sorry if the original ideas sound over powered...didn't seem so at the time when I kinda thought about it while typing it out...Just wanted to get my ideas out).

I thought a whip (or maybe lasso?) would allow you to pull in your enemy (or maybe up to three enemies?) and one hit kill them (as a charged attack) and you could just hit them normally and could inflict Stun status. Also, it could be a Normal damage weapon (at least at the start, then you could maybe upgrade it to a Shadow damage whip?) And Nizada, as you mentioned torture, why not an executioner outfit? (Or at least, you could put together some Kat armor / costume pieces to form something similar). Plus, the whip wouldn't be hit scan or lock on or be fast enough to be something like that, you'd have to aim a bit ahead of your enemy to time it right, so it could be more of a skill weapon too.

Hmmm...you say put it to the ground? Are you thinking of an artillery weapon? (That would be awesome too, though I was thinking handheld grenade launchers) Anyway, I've rethought the grenade launcher mentioned above originally...I still think it would be a better weapon for Bombers because you wouldn't have to charge it up like a bomb all the time. When using this weapon movement speed is decreased a bit, due to weight, and when you fire your character stops to shoot, and the grenades could be shot out all at once in a little slightly spread out cluster (charged attack) or normally you could shoot them individually (moving slowly when you shoot) then reload (So, it's kinda like a Bomber playing a Gunslinger role, except with explosives and Bomber specific bonuses). (And now that I re-read what I typed, I think three grenades instead of four would be better). If a grenade launcher (or even an artillery weapon) could get added, this could be a more fun weapon too and maybe more people would play the role of a Bomber (I know I would).

As far As I know granade launcers do not have magasines and can only carry one granade at a time, with significant loading time. As a cooldown only weapon this could work, but I don't know how effective it would be as I'm a shitty bomber. ^^

If you want to be Indiana Jones I'm down with that, but whips are still a bad weapon as it is just as likely to be used against you as it is to taunt your enemy. I've never heard of anyone taking permanent or significant demage from a whip. Even with sharp iron bits at the end. I do however know of several unarmed techniques that will easilly kill a person... Whips are simply not a weapon. It's like using a towel as arms in battle. o.O

Clearly you didn't play runescape back in the late 2000's. Whips were all the rage.

But to be serious for a moment, a whip as a weapon would be neat, but it would likely be a novelty similar to the rocket hammer. Charge attack being able to grab and move enemies seems like a great utility that could be a lot of fun.

As others said, OKHO weapons are a big no. Even our most powerful weapons as is don't do that. Know how terrible that would be in PvP? Against bosses? Yeah, no thanks.

Dagger shield is something I've suggested before. I prefer a parrying blade approach - in that when you take a hit you attack forwards with it. Shield bump could also be replaced with damage, and shield bash could deal significantly more damage.

Gonna say no to sniper. Bullets can't travel too far without being OP. If the sniper rifle acted like a callahan with a thinner, faster bullet I can see it working, perhaps with a charge like an auto turret... However none of this "long range high damage" stuff. Spiral Knights is too close quarters for such a weapon to work, especially with the camera angle.

If shotguns are to blasters what autoguns are to antiguas, I can be down with them.

Grenade launchers gonna say no to. I'd rather see throwable bombs, would make bombs more interesting.

More animations would be nice, but not really necessary.

HUD customization would be nice, but rather than complete control over it I would suggest a "classic" HUD and a "modern" HUD. Modern is current HUD, classic would be like it was before the UI update. Old HUD is still in the game files after all, could even get a touch up to match the new icons.

Haha, yeah, see? Fangel understands what I mean about the whip. Good ol' RuneScape. I agree that it would be more of a novelty / fun weapon (I mean, that's what I had in mind when making this thread).

Good point on that one-hit kill idea. I was only really thinking about using it on non-boss enemies (skeletons, gremlins, kats, etc.) so I agree that it would be awful for PvP and on bosses, but I should've made it clear at first that I didn't mean for it to be used in those situations...Only for it to one-hit kill the smaller / more regular enemies.

I like the idea on the dagger + shield combo.

Fair enough. If your idea on the sniper rifle could work if like that, then I'd be fine with that.

Nice to see you agree with shotguns....I guess they could be like that if the devs wanted to...Either way, it'd just be nice to see a shotgun and something a bit different.

Ah...I find it a shame no one so far has agreed to the grenade launcher...I think maybe not how I'm thinking of it , and instead how the devs would want it, could be better. I just think it'd be fun to use and better than always charging bombs, but oh well. I think throwable bombs would be nice too, if we couldn't get a grenade launcher.

Fair enough.

That'd be fine too. Even if we could move at least a couple things?
