What sword(s) would you make?
I would make a claw sword line.
It would be a long range sword line with Piercing throughout.
2* Claw -> 3* Enhanced Claw -> 4* Great Claw -> 5* Raptor Claw
-Attack One: Downward grab that pulls enemies closer.
-Attack Two: A Down/Outward scratch.
-Attack Three: Outward sweep that sends enemies flying.
-Charge Attack: 360-degree spin that takes enemies along for the ride.
3* Amputated Arm -> 4* Charged/Heated/Refrigerated/Faustian amputated Arm -> Frankenzom's/Slag Walker's/Frozen Shambler's/Carnavon's Amputated Arm
-Basic attacks are the same as all other Claws.
-Has added Shadow damage to all attacks.
-Charge Attack: Zombie leap.
3* Drake Claw -> 4* Heated/Chilled/Charged Wyvern Claw -> 5* Dragon Claw of Fire/Ice/Lightning
-Elemental and Piercing in basic attacks. Balance shifts from balance in 3* to Elemental-dominated in 5*
-Charge Attack: Sends down an Elemental-only strike. Has a chance to hit the user, which is decreased in later star levels. Can do a separate status effect from Fire in later star levels.
-Note: Shock charge attack is a quick lightning strike, Freeze has water that leaves an ice trap as it hits the ground, and Fire is a stream of, well, fire. Freeze has the highest chance of happening if it lands, while the Shock one is the most precise (even though it usually does Fire instead of Shock :D)
The sword designer thread!
I had an idea for a syringe sword in the past. My explanation of it's attack pattern then was:
"The combo would start with a quick jab forwards, a second jab forwards that moves players forwards 1.5 tiles, a third overhead stab forwards that moves the player another 1.5 tiles fowards, and then the knight would spin and jab the sword into the side of the enemy, moving the player an additional .5 tiles forwards."
Here's a quick visual I drew up of its attack pattern.
If sleep were to be redone, I would give this the sleep status, else it would be a poison status. Pure piercing sword too.
My description of the charge attack on my old post is as follows:
"For the charge attack for this weapon the player pulls back the plunger and shoots a fast ranged projectile (which is the needle of the syringe) that would have slight homing capabilities. This charge would have a very high chance of inflicting the status. The homing range would only be within 2 tiles of the initial landing location. The needle would visibly stick out of the target like a maskeraith needle, and would "explode" after a few seconds, dealing additional damage."
Would help with the whole lack of piercing swords problem.
Fiend's Pitchfork.
Jab type attack, first 2 hits straight forward in a narrow line, 3rd hit broad swing.
Charge: Very long range pitchfork throw. Hitbox would be a narrower in width than brandish lines but much longer in length.
obligatory shadow, fire, shock and piercing variants.
this could be from a fiend undercorp themed promotion I know alot of people have been wanting. ( offtopic, if we get a fiend promo id want devil tails too. I dont even think they have pointed tails but it still seems fitting! [for somereason])
P.S. I like the claw Idea, I know id love to use that item!
I would create the Blobby Hammer for bombers and gunslingers.
- Low Normal Demage.
- Extreme knockback.
- Attack pattern like the Crimson Hammer.
- Charge attack like Calibur.
Edit: This could be a reward from the slime casino...(Golden hammer style) Did I accually give a suggestion for the casino? Kill me! :S
