((Just going to cheap time a little here amd moveKokkinos forwards to the group, saving an unneeded post.))

Still matching forwards, the Tower right in his face, Kokkinos happened to notice a Knight or so he thought, stabbing his blade into a house and deep in thought. Hmm, Soldier looks like he has some mental problems. Moving forwards a little bit not enough to cause any alarm the Morai spoke aloud in his booming voice.

"Are you alright son? You look as if some one has given you bad news." With that said the man stood and waited, looking to the sky Kokkinos knew his little excursion outside was coming to a close lest he get cough out in the open by these creatures who called themselves men.

Enemy closing in.

He heard heavy armor. Someone was coming towards him. Then it stopped. "Are you alright son? You look as if some one has given you bad news."

Melvin opened one eye. He saw that it was some Morai Guardian. As if he actually cared. Melvin opened his other eye. Then carelessly tossed his weapon forward. "Absolutely." Was his response.

Melvin quickly unslung the Jezail from his back and aimed it at the Morai. "You move a single step and I'll punch through your goddamn armor!"

Woah there

"The bloody hell is that noi- Oh, great..." Urie said, as she looked outside through one of the few windows of the tower.
From observation, there was a man in thick armor, and Melvin pointing a gun- A threat.
Walking down the tower, Urie muttered to herself, 'Do we really need to kill more people? It's already difficult enough...!'
Pinching her brow, as usual, Urie stood from the entrance of the tower, and bombarded, "Let me get this straight- You'll tolerate a woman with a knife threatening you, but not a man in armor making a statement?!" as she stomped down the stairs.
[[Insert Disappointed Fatherly Stare]]
"I mean look, he's not even got a weapon drawn! ARGH."
A glance between the two pretty much confirmed for her, that this would be yet another headache.

Staring at the ground with the eyebrow pinch, she inquiried, "Is this going to be a problem?"
(Internally; I don't like problems.)

Hello Darkness, my Old Friend.

Melvin muttered something under his breath, then slung the jezail over his back.

He silently looked at Urie as if she did something wrong, then stomped off in another direction.

Am I so wrong?

"Despite his clearly unfocused mind I say that boy had a bad case of I'll temperament."

Reaching behind d his back the Morai pulled a rather lard looking wrap in from the hollow storage equipped with his armor, I stead of using it for hostilities the man simply slammed it into the group and stepped away. Unarmed and naked with his armor on the Heavy Guardian looked at the new knight who just saved him a painful experience.

With a slightly drifted accent the monster of a man spoke. "Hello, I suppose being formal is the best thin considering you just gave me a rest from the enivitible. I am Kokkinos Dragos, former Morai heavy guardian."

Reaching up the man removed his helm, his pepper and sult colored hair and simi-unkempt facial hair gave his age away alittle. Still amon that the woman might haven been able to see the body and genetic engineering the Morai were known for among their units. The main give away where the dark purple eyes of his.

His voice more calm and informal now, "Um you don't plan on saying in this town for long do you?"

Staring is rude.

It took Urie a couple of seconds to respond, distracted by the strange features of Dragos.
"...I'm Urie Feldeminne. As of the moment, We're kind of... Stuck here. There's no response from HQ."
She looked away for a second, and cleared her throat, continuing, "So, while we might not plan to, we might have to. And..."
Urie locked eyes with Dragos, once again, distracted.
"Okay, you look really neat and I can't help but comment on that."

The older man chuckled slightly reach g up and whipping his brow. Looks neat, we'll it's the first time for everything even getting a compliment on my, disfigurements. living his hand down from his face the Morai rested them behind his back, his armor clanking with each movment.

"Well that's not good ma'am, I will offer this due to the nature of this town, my place has room and food that can be shared. That is, if your willing to trust a fellow stranded soldier."

Calibur complies!

The Calibur complied with Melvin's request. Seeming to move of its own accord, it tore out of his hand and hovered in the air for a moment. Then it drove toward his throat.

Melvin heard some swooshing sound, and turned around to see the Calibur he threw flying towards him.

What the f-

He swatted it, but it was no good. It slashed his neck.

Melvin held his neck and walked around haphazardly, then collapsed. He didn't even have time to think.

Still awaiting a response something caught the old Morai's attention, a sound which the old Morai soldier knew all too well. Putting his helm back on, the sound of the augmentations connecting and lights which helped light up the area around him coming to life. Looking more like a war machine then a man once more he quickly grabbed his weapon, the Morai's Warhammar, made from technology taken from the knights. I have that feeling this isn't going to come across well.

Ignoring his mind for the moment he dashed off in the direction of the sound, metal hitting and the sight didn't surprise him too much. "Blast, I knew something bad would happen." Taking an leaning his hammer on the wall the Morai quickly reached down taking hold of the mans neck applying just enough pressure to hopefully keep him from bleeding out too much.

"Boy, if you can hear me keep breathing while I try and stop the bleeding." Turning slightly, his hands already trying to hold the flesh closed he yelled aloud. "MEDIC! WE NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE NOW!" His voice booming like the monster who emitted it.

Turning his attention back to the bleeding man he sighed as he looked over the wound to see if their was anything he could do to help or if responding first aid would assist.

((This is the part where Thin or Blaze need to describe the wound. Please this man has been bleeding for around 4.8s IGT))

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Time froze. Cold sweat trembled on Urie's face. This was not the time to be panicking.
And yet, all she could do for a few seconds was stare in disbelief, fear. The man's erupting shout brought her back to her senses.
Urie dashed over to Melvin's side, and layed out her large medical kit.
Her first concern was stopping the blood, and fast- For the moment, some medigel would do- She sprayed a can of quickly expanding liquid, which then solidified into an odd rubbery jello.
The first step was done.
A closer inspection to the wound revealed that it was indeed a very serious wound, that went a bit too deep for comfort.
Thankfully, it looked as though Melvin's windpipe was not in fact, gushing with blood.
Urie cut off the excess gel, and rummaged in her pack.
"This next step is usually painful." Urie grimaced, as she grabbed a needle and thread.

The wound

Caliburs typically produced thick, deep wounds. Had the weapon done more than glance off his neck, he would have needed serious reconstruction work on it. As it is, the wound is thin and open, reparable with some stitches or a really good bandage.

"Ah a live safer for sure. I will hold him still you go ahead."

Looking down at the wounded man Kokkinos applied his might on the mans chest and head, just enough to ensure his neck wouldn't move while the woman did her work. Looking at the wound en-general he gave a semi-relived sigh. This is only the tip of the iceberg. If they can't find a proper safe place then this town will do much worse then some little sword trick.

"Son, I need you to do everything you can to hold still. Its going to hurt more but once its done I will take you back to my place so you can rest. Be assured I have taken safety measures to ensure one of this towns voodoo can get in."

With that said he braced the knight and nodded at the Doc. "The man is ready my lady."

Hello Darkness, my Old Friend.

"Son, I need you to do everything you can to hold still. Its going to..." Melvin blacked out.

Mercilessly... You deserve this.
The repressed memories... They were coming back.

X years ago...

Several people were seated around a Poker table, Melvin included.

Dealing out the cards. Though secretly, he checked the face of every card he dealt with extreme sleight of hand.
Excellent. Through intense concentration he correctly rigged the deck. Cheating, they called it. Call it what you want but this is just some game.

They haven't seen me cheat, heh. What a bunch of losers.

Three cards. Texas Hold 'Em.
Four cards. Full House is complete.
Five cards. "Wait, Stop!" Everyone paused. "He's cheating. I saw him switching cards and rigging the deck. He put an Ace of Clubs in his sleeve."

A security guard shrugged and started searching Melvin.
"You're wrong." Melvin said, smiling.
The guard found an Ace of Hearts. "You're gonna regret this."

"I don't think so." Melvin quickly punched the guard in the face and kicked him away so he couldn't find his second possession.

Two out of four Poker players fled while the other two started to walk towards Melvin. "I can do this with my shirt on, boys." He reacted by grabbing a chair and smashing the first person with it. As the chair broke he used the remaining chair leg to beat the last person to the ground.

...Melvin straightened his tie. He looked around, everyone had evacuated. "Sorry, fellas. But I can't have you remembering my face."

He pulled out a handgun, pulled back the slide, and aimed it the security guard's head.

*BANG!*

Stitching is not for beginners

Thankfully, Melvin seemed to be unconscious.
Urie checked the wound once more before finding the spot to stitch, weave, under, over, under, in and over.
"The gel should dissolve in a bit, leaving a nice, clean wound." Urie wiped the blood off Melvin, and hoisted him onto her shoulder.
"...heavy." Urie muttered, as she walked haphazardly towards the tower, to get Melvin somewhere he could rest.

That's it. She's leaving her back exposed.
Pehron's nerves were already sitff the moment Melvin got out of the tower and started showing suicidal behavior, and the Heavy Guardian nearly propped him to arm his gun. He saw with shock, and litttle else, as the floating blade nearly gut his teammate. But Urie leaving her back facing a Morai Heavy was what did him over. He left his half-packed comms on the floor and dashed down the stairs.

Urie was approaching the tower entrance when the knight rushed out, shield and gun both in hands. He stared out behind her and shuddered at the sight of the Morai following - he didnt seem hostile, but Perohn heard enough of the Heavy Guardians to know what he could try to pull off.
Heavy Guardians dont usualy get sent on assaults of medium importance. He must have arrived recently on behalf of the Morai to investigate.
Damage the back of the neck to compromise the neural interface.
I dont think he's going to turn his back to me now, I should have come out unarmed to not get his attention. Too late.
He must be part of a team. If he doesnt subdue us, the rest of his patrol will.
Either dead or prisoners. And I'll probably be the one getting tortured for information...
What is it I once heard about Morai interrogations? Something about brainwashi--
CALM YOURSELF.
He loosened his grip on the Blaster and shifted his gaze to the self-sentient Calibur on the floor, many meters away from the Morai. Pehron could see the thin line of blood addourning the right edge of the Calibur facing him, almost as if proud to have taken such a clean hit.
Pehron growled with frustration. He never singned up to the Knights thinking he'd have to deal with cursed elements.
It was innapropiate by his standards, but he asked the only question he could come to think of in two seconds of threatening silence.
"I suppose your commanders sent you here to investigate the damage, Morai?"
For such an observant person, Pehron caught no clue that this Guardian was a retired unit.

Seeing the injured was taken care of and that some one wanted his attention the Morai turned only be met with the sight of an armed combatant. Unarmed and unprepared for battle the Heavy stood to his full hight looking across the distance between them. Lets see, he doesn't have the fermest of grips on his weapon, but that could change. The Shield he was doesn't look all that well either, but could be broken. Slowly the man took one step in the direction of his war-hammer. Not reaching for it but showing he wasn't afraid of grabbing for it should the need arise.

"No, I am with no unit Knight." He said with a more commanding boom, "I find my self alone now, what of you?"

Given his stance and tone, he is right to take me as a threat. Best try and disarm this situation, and fast.

Holding up one hand flat in front of him the Heavy remained. He knew one wrong step would lead to a fight, and with the current activity that just happened provoking any kinda tension to aggravate the village wasn't a good idea. "No, I am here of my own. I have been for many years now, and I do have some advice if you are willing to take it."

Slowly his hand opened, palm facing his weapon just encase things took the wrong path. He is still a Spiral after all, more likely to just attack me for speaking at this point. Still I could take him, I think.

Grand Murder Operation

Moving... Where the hell are you taking me... I can't move. Stop. Leave me.

X Years Ago.
Melvin Sierras, underworld agent. Tasked to kill two people for an unknown reason as initiation.
Killed targets without remorse. Perfect candidate.
Sierras was traced by authorities, they're coming for him now.
Make sure they don't find us. Sacrifice Sierras if you have to.

He waited... In the jail cell. No suduku books today.

The guard banged on the door. "Hey, you got a visitor today! Get up!"

Reluctantly. Melvin stood up and walked to the guard to get handcuffed. See who was visiting him today. Not that anyone did.

They walked him to the interrogation room. There was a fellow sitting in a chair.
What kind of armor is that? No, not standard military, too high tech.

"Good evening, Melvin." The man said.

The guards had Melvin sit on the stool and walked outside the room.

"Who are you."

"I am Corporal Lionel of the Spiral Order." He proceeded to open a folder, which had several files on Melvin. "Now apparently in High School, your grades dropped from an A to a B in the middle of the semester, and was traded off for gymnastic ability with... Unsavory types."

"What's it to you?" Melvin asked nonchalantly.

"I'd like to know why you picked up this change in behavior."

"I'd like you to know that I'm not gonna tell you about such things."

"Very well, then." Lionel shifted the papers to look at a different file. "Now you randomly decided to become part underworld, and as part of your initiation to a superior, you had to kill two people. Now is that the first time you've killed?"

Melvin kept his face away from Lionel, and didn't have any eye contact with him. "Yes."

"Now, after we recovered the Security film that you stole from the casino, we've seen that you killed those two, along with two security guards, and left unfazed."

Melvin raised his voice a little. "Cut to the point, this chair is uncomfortable to sit in."

Lionel frowned, and then put the files away. "One of my captains in the Spiral Order has asked that I make an offer to you. If you join the Spiral Order, we'll Forgive and Forget." He held out his metal hand, motioning for a handshake.

Melvin's expression didn't change. "Wait."

"What?"

"If I am to join your, 'Spiral Order', then can you make sure that none of my information is disclosed to anyone but your superiors?"

".........that's possible. Now, do you accept?"

Melvin looked at Lionel's padded glove. "With the chance that I might break your hand?" He shook Lionel's hand. "I accept."
Freedom. From life.

Pehron stepped aside to let Urie come inside with Melvin, and blocked the entrance with his presence once more.

"No, I am with no unit, Knight". Nonsense. Heavy Guardians are not just letf to wander around.
That armor does look worn out and old, though. This is not a current model he's wearing. Is this....?

The Knight holstered his shield.

That's one of the first models. And anyone issued with one of those would have been decomissioned by now.

His stance lightened.

And the Morai dont decomission their lab rats. They purge them.

Pehron took a few steps foward to clear the tower's entrance and raised his Master Blaster to waist-level.
"Keep both of those hands raised, thank you."

"Allright them, start talking. And try to start with why one of my team was nearly killed by a self-wielding Calibur.

If only I could explain it so easily. Taking a deep breath the Heavy looked down at the man. Of course his armor's computer already doing its work, sparking to life as if he was in a battle. Vital's, energy level, even the basic outline system came to life. Looking down at the man a Data stream stated to spread with a basic understanding of the weapon he was holding.

"You see, this is why I questioned how long your unit was going to be here." Relaxing his hand but not letting it get too far away from his weapon he retained a calm voice, well as calm as one could be when a gun was pointed at them. Even in his rather thick armor he knew a well placed shot could still get to him.

"Look I can explain what I understand is going on, but I warn you it will sound crazier then what you just saw." Taking a deep breath Kokkinos started. "I can't rightfully say what is at work here. Some kind of Voodoo if you will, this town, its people, they arn't right. When the sun goes down things tend to get worse, as you saw, the closer it gets to dusk it starts. I have live in this town for nay on Two years and I don't rightfully understand it all, doing what I could to remain 'retired' if you will, save up to get out, and not get attacked by my own weapons. I managed to get a home, well I should say, I moved into an abanonded home that was rather large, fixed it up and started a simple shop inside it."

Holding up one hand he made a strange gesture, perhaps a gesture only the Morai would know better. "It seems their are rules to what ever is going on. Whoever had that home before I repaired it left a book on how to 'protect the halls of your land from the evils with-out'. What ever that means, anyway whatever it is I manage to keep it out, but I have to constanly replaces the objects, I don't know the word in this tongue...A Fylachto."

Holding up his fist the Morai Heavy spoke through gritted teeth. "Katarastei afti tin poli kai ekeinoi pou zoun se afto."

"Excuse me, anyway as far as why or what made the weapon come to life, I can no say. Its some kind of....exorkismos, something of this nature. For this reason I have been trying to leave. Alas I find my self unable, people from both sides who have come and tried to leave, all meet the same fate. The bodies you bury, it is much the same for those who try to leave with out a guide, and the only guide would be the town cheif, whom I have never spoke to out of a suppressed fear. This, is all I can explain."

Looking around the Armor's Display had already started waking up the Main Neural-Network interface, even now he could feel his movements feeling more relaxed and natural in the suit as it prepared for the fight he was hoping to avoid. Well if this does break down into a fight, at least I am ready. Lets just hope it doesn't come down to that. Your move cowboy.

I'm a Threat.

Unknown, Morai War

Steady...
Melvin aimed a reconfigured Jezail at the Morai Patrol. Stolen rifle, customized to decent degree, will get the job done. "Lieutenant, I've got visual on the enemies."

"Hold your fire, Sierras. Wait for my order."
"Roger that."

He had a spotter with him, some 'pretty girl' named Ruby. She scouted the area with binoculars. "So... Why'd you join the Spirals?"

Melvin maintained his concentration. "I'd rather not socialize during a mission..."

Ruby put the binoculars down. "Why are you so edgy?"

"Shut up. If I start sympathising with people then I'll get killed."

"Ruby, check the enemy patrol. We think there might be a threat."

Ruby rechecked the patrol. "Roger, Lieutenant. There's a Grenadier. He could easily destroy the Armored Vehicle."

"Woah wait a second." Melvin shifted his scope to some glint of light he saw in the distance. "There's an enemy sniper, Lieutenant."

"Deal with him later. Take out that Grenadier."

"If I fire, that sniper will find me." Melvin said.

"Take out the Grenadier, Sierras! That's an order!"

BANG! The Grenadier went down, and the Spiral forces started engaging the enemy.

Melvin quickly shifted his attention to the enemy sniper's direction, then cycled the bolt on the Jezail. "Ruby! I need you to spot that sniper now!"

Ruby scanned every building as fast at she could. "I see him! It's that one with the maroon paint!"

Melvin took a fast shot. It missed.

Fsssheeew!
No! Ruby took a bullet to the face. Call Paramedics! Hell no, just take out that b******!

Melvin aimed at the sniper once again. He was standing up and was about to run.
BANG! Target down. He saw the sniper look his hand with horror, and watched as he collapsed.

"So, let me guess. You were one of the testing subjects for the Morai's Heavy Guard Project. You eventualy grew a counsciousness on all the wires they grafted onto you and tried to leave. And somehow you did leave, despite the fact that the Morai dont let their research products wander out alive. Now you live on some backwater colony, near a small village innahbited by voodo witches, in a nice little cottage with axes over the door."

The Morai was probably ready to reply, but Pehron raised his gun to head-level. "Dont answer."

He then lowered it back to waist-level and shifted his gaze to the fading sunlight in the sky. Night was setting up.

"Very good, akolouthiste grigora! Keep your weapon out and stay behind me then. If need help moving the wounded just ask, you knights where always easier to deal with then not fighting back."

He knew it was a backhanded compliment but still, he wasn't going to allow the chance to slip my. Reaching over he pulled his Hammer into his ready hands, the smooth grip of the weapon always made him feel calm, despite what it was meant for. Looking over his shoulder the monster of a man nodded his head a little.

"If you have weapons, keep them at the ready with an iron grip for we know not if the patrols have started. If they have, do not speak and keep your heads down. As the sun goes down, the...um...daimones, come forth to this plane."

With that said the man sling the hammer's neck onto his shoulder holding onto it with one hand, the other free just encase something happened.

Pehron misspeling names is intentional by my part, by the way.

Perohn's eyes rolled hard at the fact that the Morai missed the joke entirely, but he felt relieved to finaly get confirmation that the Heavy was not trying to trick him.
He aked us to keep weapons ready.
He left his back exposed to me for a second.

Aware of the morai's warning, but not entirely convinced that a pistol could stop floating blades, the Knight pulled out his shield instead.

They are taking for ever. No wonder these Ippótis' are so easy to topple at the sight of danger, remind- Still lost in a day dream the Morai Heavy held his weapon now with both hands as he turned in the direction of Town Square. Of course it never hurt to remember, only when he remembered that he was now forced to work with Knights did it sink in how rather deep in the hole he really was.

"Come along small Ippótis'. We leave now."

With that said the Heavy marched forwards, eyes scanning the area before him taking in the signs for any signs of the 'first wave' that came with the progressing night.

"I have done many escorting in my day, but now I find my self escorting those I would have called enemies, my how times change when you don't pay attention."

With every step, the solid thud of his armor, clanking and all, was a audible reminder of just who he really was. Only the small sound of vents opening to let out heat and air came once he started his march. The heavies voice having grown quiet.

It brought deep displeasure to Pehron that things got to such a level (a researcher having to help carry a wounded soldier!), but their numbers were 4 and not a single one more. While Urie carried him from the legs, Pheron took the torso with both hands, while still trying to cover part of the three-man formation with his shield. Not like it mattered, they were tucked together close enough for the barrier projector to protect all of them should the need arise.

Pehron paid close attention to the Morai's armor. The many intricacies that addorned the titan's back-plating- as if they were mere seams and scales- stood as proof of what the Morai are capable of.
...that is, when they aren't busy convincing their people to march blindly to their deaths by the thousands.

Nudge. Pehron glanced at Melvin's face. It wasnt as dormant as before.
He woke up.
Pehron firmed his grip on Melvin's shoulder and kept pace with Urie. There was no point in either notifying Urie or helping Melvin back to his senses. The shadows were beginining to press down on Pehron. The team was better off focusing on getting indoors.

Stopping for a moment the Heavy looked around, lowing his weapon with one hand and the other reaching behind his back. As his new 'team' was behind him they could see a small focal point, almost like an eye, light up as it constructed a rather large shield which housed the same Generational field as the knights only it was designed to take a little more then the average foot soldier's share of in coming fire. Once it finally materialized they could see the Morai Legion's Crest, as well as his Kinsmen's crest as well. That of a red beast's vestige with a blade protruding from the center mass.

No, something is wrong now, the air, it feels colder then normal. Taking and slamming the shield down in front of him he lifted it slightly so it didn't bang on the ground and moved forwards. A rather thick shield formed around him as he moved back so they would be covered by it as well. Unlike the flawless sphere shape of the Knights this one was more cell formed, on the outer layer. Locked together and moving slowly. The second layer seemed to be much thicker and didn't move while the inner layer seemed to fidgeting every now and again, as if it was flexing to keep the other two layers firm.

"Brace yourselves Ippótis, for I feel this wind is about to break on us soon."

With that said he pressed on, his mind alert and body tense, ready to pounce should something force his hand.

Something is in the air.

Something grabbed Kokkinos's foot and tugged on it.

He could wrench it free easily enough. But as the knights trudged on, they might notice that the dead soldiers they encountered on the way here were no longer there. All that remained of them was their armor and equipment. Their bodies had vanished completely.

"Come on, this way."

Stopping for a moment as something tugged on his foot the mountain of a man remained front faced. The force of which didn't seem strong enough to pull him, only alert or perhaps 'being its self known'. Either way he knew well not to let such small things get to him, lest he be tempted by this wrenched place's ilk.

Blast, out in the open and the freak show is starting sooner then I expected. We need to get home as soon as possible.

Turning his head slightly, just enough to see the knights behind him the Morai sighed, some what glad to see them their but what he didn't expect right then were the empty sets of armor. Even though he knew well enough what was going on, it still sent a chill down his spine a little to see his former brothers being disgraced so easily.

"Katara afto to meros, katara olous ekeinous pou apokaloun spiti episis."

Fowl as his words where the man turned his attention forwards once more. Softly he could head the voice calling for him, so many times he wanted to follow, yet he was not detoured by some illustrious specters call. No, for the call only meant one thing for the old warrior, dishonor. Even thou such things had been lost on him for a such a long time.

"Do not listen, it is a sirens call. Another dubious trick by the land. The kaka of this land speaks to us now, do your best to resist the temptations of such sweet noise lest you wish to end up like our fallen friends."

A way to greet your guests for the party.

"Katara afto to meros, katara olous ekeinous pou apokaloun spiti episis."

Goddamnit, morons. Now speaking a language I can't properly eavesdrop on.
Melvin finally came to the conclusion that Markus wasn't around and about.
I'll have to remind you morons about this later, then.

"Do not listen, it is a sirens call. Another dubious trick by the land. The kaka of this land speaks to us now, do your best to resist the temptations of such sweet noise lest you wish to end up like our fallen friends."

Your foreign s@#& is annoying me a little. Wait wait what? That horrid scent seems to have died down... A little too much.
After all his thoughts Melvin stirred a little bit, likely enough to be noticed.

.

Pehron was strugling not to freak out after another supernatural event, but this morai and his native accent werent helping.

And now a wierd static was starting to bother him. Internally. It was as if something was trying to communicate with him, but he could only hear the tone of the message. No words, but somehow, meaning.

..........,.......???
What........?
...........!!!!!,.......!,.......!
Uh?
...,.............????
Uh?!?!
..................,......

He would've kept at it, trying to indulge himself in fright at what was with struggle being relayed to him, but a more tangible message came from someone else.

Stir...stir stir..... a head below him moving.

Pehron shook his head and glanced down at Melvin. His face was hardening.
He's going to attempt movement soon. Vog damn it.
His animosity could not be kept for longer now. Pehron finaly notified Urie.
"Curie, he's waking up."

Oh, good.

The noises coming from the distance were... curious.
Kokkinos's warning was enough, though. While it would be interesting to know more about the language being spoken, This was neither the time nor place to get distracted. But, distractions come from all sides, it would appear- "Curie, he's waking up." could be heard, not too long after.
"Oh, good." Urie said, hoisting Melvin over her front and onto his feet.
"No offense, but you're heavy." Urie thought out loud. Thoughtfully, she added,
"We'll get you some coffee or something once we get there. Guard up- we're not in the clear."

Looking back for a moment the man sighed a little, it was the same scene he had seen on the field of battle mean times. Knights trying to salvage themselves together after being raddled a little.

And yet another reason I find myself unable to understand them. Ants who are so easily moved, yet when they come together an army can be formed.

With no word Kokkinos marched forwards, breaking the grip that seemed to hold him for so long. It was in his mind he raced for some kinda answer to ensure his little 'party' wasn't going to end up like the bodies behind them. More and more did he find himself asking that question: 'did I do the right thing.' So far the answer seemed to lean to no, yet hope still ran in his mind that these knights would be his ticket home, or rather his ticket to anywhere but here, after all living in a town cursed by the very demons that lived in it wasn't quite the retirement he had planned.

"If you are done, we are nearly home. Just one-hundred and sixty meter's still our destination."

Marching, the dull sound of the wind and his armor clanking and hitting the ground while his shield covered them. It wasn't ideal, specially considering the the number of knights he was currently moving with. Yet the town, made of wood and stone structures, seemed to be watching them now. As if the occupants where waiting to see what was going to happen. Even the shops a stands that littered the streets seemed to have the same shadows starting to hand over them. Washed in Ebony by the shade of the incoming night, the streets almost gave off a liquid feel, like some one had left the water on for too long.

Double Time

Melvin was barely awake, but he could operate just fine. He took a few deep breaths, and then touched his neck. Bandages, he moved his hand back to his side.

"We'll get you some coffee or something once we get there. Guard up- we're not in the clear." Melvin was pretty sure that Urie said something else, but forgot about it.

Guard up, guard up, got it.
He fumbled for his sword, only to realize that he somehow lost it. He quickly gave the differently colored guardian near him a rude glance.
Then he angrily fumbled for his Jezail and unslung it from his back.

Still tired.
But all done without a word. Because Melvin felt like sandpaper had been crammed in his throat.

Back in town.

The moment the four of them reached the approximate boundary of the town, the whispers stopped. A light breeze caressed their wounds. The sound of squelches in their steps turned into crunches, and the crunches soon became thuds as grassroots took hold of the earth. The night sky had become a deep blue, the sun having disappeared below the horizon. The Morai girl called "Violet" stood a ways off, watching them with arms crossed and a bemused expression.

"Fear got the best of you?"

Looking in the direction of the girl Kokkinos gave a small laugh as he kept marching. Slight ammused by her, yet at the same time not going to let it show he did have some fear in his bones about this village.

"O fovos, den yparchei. Pigaine spiti koritsi i theleis na peis stous goneis sou eiste mechri afto arga?" (Translation previded for Thin since this is a Morai. 'Fear, no. Go home girl or do you want me to tell your parents you are up this late?')

Looking down the group she shook his head before lowering his tone so they wouldn't get their ears blasted off by being so close.

"Say hello to Ms. Violet, however let us not linger. We are already in the cusp of the night and it will be a long one if we don't make it back to my halls before too long."

Looking at the girl once more Kokkinos lifted his weapon above his head as if waving at her. "Tell your mother I said hello alright!?"

Don't think we're ever gonna be friends.

Despite his social, sarcastic demeanor when he first met her, Melvin acted a little hostile towards Violet, simply giving her a dirty look.

"O fovos, den yparchei. Pigaine spiti koritsi i theleis na peis stous goneis sou eiste mechri afto arga?" The Morai Guardian spoke.

Some sort of maniacal ritual from you people.

The friendliness of the guardian kept Melvin alert. He still didn't trust him. "Say hello to Ms. Violet, however let us not linger. We are already in the cusp of the night and it will be a long one if we don't make it back to my halls before too long."

Melvin sighed. "I've already said hello," he coughed, his voice sounding a little dry. "I've got a question by the way, where did all the bodies go!?"
You definitely couldn't have moved everyone all on your own. Is this some sick voodoo meant to scare us?
