GUNS BULLETS TRAVELS OFF CENTER OF THE AIMING CURSOR
I've been noticing this for a while now and it is kinda the reason why I use Auto Target in Lockdown even though I play better without it in the Arcade Clockwork runs. If you shoot you will noticed that the bullets travels slightly on the right side of the cursor. This can make aiming without Auto Target and moving while on the move very difficult to aim accurately.
You can see it easier with Antigua line guns since the bullets are skinnier. I've contact them earlier today about is issue and they sent me here to report it. I hope they see this post and fix it soon, so that aiming with guns with be a lot easier without Auto Target and shooting while on the move
No problem, I understand what you are saying. If that is the problem why the bullets for guns are off center from the arrow cursor then there needs to be a new aimming method for guns in Spiral Knight's because aimming with a cursor is just annoying and not very accurate since the bullets travels off center from where it is pointing.
I don't know if you played "Metal Gear Solid VR Missions" on PlayStation 1 in the past, you can check out some videos on YouTube as well, the aimming method in that game is on point, and not to mention that the camera angle in that game is very similar to that of Spiral Knight's. When Solid Snake uses his pistol there is no cursor for aiming, but there is a little red lazer beam that is used for aiming and when the lazer is on a target you know that you are pointing in the right direction, and not to the left, or to the right of the target.
I have no problem aimming with swords in this game since some of the swords has either a wide or long AoE and are up close and personal, but guns are distance and their AoE for regular shots are smaller then that of swords, like the Antiguas line guns for example. There needs to be a change to the guns aimming system.

The cursor has always been an inefficient reticle in my opinion. It's good for navigating, but not all that great for aiming most projectiles (guns, Drakon's fire bolts and vials). This is mainly because of its shape and size, I can't really seem to exactly pinpoint where a projectile will land with it... then again, maybe it's just me.
The only fix that I can think of is replacing the cursor with a circular reticle in combat situations.
edit: I just wanted to point out that almost all projectiles are affected by this issue, just in case my post isn't clear.
edit2: Just tested it to be sure; the inaccuracy is really small, but it's there.
The Cursor Arrow can still be used as an navigation, but there should be a change to the aiming method when guns are in use. An aimming lazer like the one used in Metal Gear Solid VR Missions would be nice since the in the introduction story of Spiral knights the Knights seems to be high tech group.
It's not really a bug. Let me explain.
The cursor is above you. If you were in bird's eye, the bullets go straight towards your cursor.
Meh. Deal with it. Did you know guns have a small bit of AoE?
Sorry if this is the worst explanation you've ever heard but whatever.
