So we have Caketastrophe in April, Dark Harvest for Halloween, Winterfest in January - a bit late for Christmas but whatever, March of the Tortodrones (except when it was in February or July), and Apocrea and black cats pretty much randomly.
My idea is some kind of fire festival timed to the summer solstice, with mostly fire and elemental theme. And this event don't actually need to have any actually new content, we could just farm fire crystals. It would be nice tho have some new monsters though, for example the crystal based ones, that Malakym already designed.
(And yes, the "fire festival" was totally inspired by a WoW event)
Nice idea, I think they should definitely add something for the summer, as it's when most players are online, and there doesn't seem to be a fixed event. It'd also give a lot of the other players something to do other than endlessly spamming vana. Those crystal monster ideas are pretty damn cool, and it be awesome if there was an event for them.
