Two new weapon ideas

So I was thinking, and I came up with ideas for a new bomb line and new heavy sword line.
Bomb: A 3* to 5* bomb that produces a shockwave, knocking enemies back and dealing damage. The closer the enemy is to the bomb, the more times they'll be knocked back. Think like Magnus charge, except it knocks them away from the bomb, not just backwards.
Normal damage, no effects.
3*: Shockwave Generator
A bomb used to knock back enemies away from anything you don't want them near.
4* Shockwave Impulse
Originally designed to clear large messes, it was discovered it could also clear large monsters.
5* Shockwave (I'm not sure)
(I don't have a description either)

Heavy sword: No combo, just one heavy hit, but with 3 charge levels. 3* to 5*.
Normal damage, good chance of moderate stun.
First charge: Deals a much heavier version of the standard attack.
Second charge: Deals area damage (like a Trojan's attack)
Third charge: Deals heavy damage over a widespread area. Knight jumps a bit, and smashes ground with two hands on the weapon. Higher chance of stun.
I'll be honest, I don't have names or descriptions.

Well...

the heavy sword sounds great, and im all for it, but the bomb...well, It seems very terrible. Mostly because it sounds like it would deal a bit of damage before the enemy gets out of the radius. Well, I guess it would be pretty good in corridors for gunners, but thats all I can think of, seems really gimmicky (but then again, graviton and catalyzer are my favourite weapons, so id like it in the game)

With the bomb...

My idea is that similar to the Magnus charge, it hits an enemy & deals knockback, then it hits it again, and again until it's out of the range.
I'm assuming it'll have fairly slow charge time, a long fuse and above average range.

Waaait....Aren't those Nitronome/BaB and Sudaruska?

Sorry dude but we already kinda have these weapons. Sword is a lil different....but honestly i like Suda more.

Uh...

I mean that the enemies keep getting knocked back away from the bomb and hit multiple times. Like I said: like the Magnus charge.
With the sword, remind me, does the Suda do really big AOE damage?
Also I'm saying that the sword does a quick charge, then another, then another, if anyone's confused.

Yes. Suda does big AOE. Almost like 4* bomb. Can hit whole bunch of enemies. More AOE would just turn sword into a Bomb....

I understand that Sword with massive Charge attack is kinda cool....but swords are SWORDS. Brandish line already considered OP because of its charge attack. I dont want another Sword that is better than Guns and Bombs.

And about bomb....Basically you want a bomb that shoots Magnus charge attack 360 around it? Now i get it.

But hell it would be so overpowered...

uh

So you want it to be a magnus charge that knocks them away from the bomb.
What you want is a brandish charge that shoots from the center of the bomb in 360 degrees. Ouch. Bit too powerful even for my liking.

I like shockwave bomb ideas but would rather them pulsate damage a few times rather than fire one large shockwave that is a better magnus, especially with how buggy magnus is (and how Nick said they wanted to make the magnus have proper knockback but couldn't due to technical limitations).

Um.

Obviously since they would be OP as crud, they'd have to be somewhat weak and maybe change to not knock over, just flinch?
Also, no, not Magnus charge bullets @Tripelscrew, just knocking away from the centre.
Make them face the centre and knock them back. Easy! (I think...)
Also as for the swords being OP because of charge, I'd say make it a long charge for each level. If you want OPness, you have to work for it, damnit!
I'm hoping the 1st charge is a good "in combat" thing or good against bosses because it's quick with heavy damage. 3rd charge takes a while, but deals crazy AOE, but less damage that the 1st's single target.
Maybe?

Also, yeah I'd be cool with a pulsating shockwave bomb.
Like it attacks, then attacks again after a brief pause?
What if it did that 4 times, and 5 times at 5*?

yeah

Imagine the shockwave attack that tortodrones have. Now make that a bomb with up to 3 pulses per bomb (with a duration similar to a mist bomb probably). They don't have knockback, and damage is dealt as long as targets stay within the bomb radius for the pulses. This style feels elemental as well, meaning we can finally have a worthwhile elemental damage bomb!
