Cheapest Armour Required To Defeat Vanaduke and Jelly King?

Hey, how is everyone. I quit the game several years ago and just came back to play it again. Now,I dont remember ANYTHING about the stats of weapong and armours. I am also kind of low on crowns so would anyone tell me what is the cheapest but effective loadout for defeating Vanaduke and the Jelly King?

Yes, that's a great loadout. Its only "problem" is that it's very popular.
Combuster is very powerful and easy to use. Warmaster Rocket Hammer is quite powerful but not easy. It has one of the steepest learning curves in this game, which makes it rewarding and fun.
Blitz Needle is most powerful when you use the charges. But you're a bit vulnerable when doing so. So you need to time your charges carefully, relative to the AI. So you need to be a fairly experienced player. If that sounds like you, then go for it.
I hope you know that Perfect Mask of Seerus and Warmaster Rocket Hammer require you to purchase Operation: Crimson Hammer.
You forgot a shield. I recommend Barbarous Thorn Shield. It gives damage+2 to your sword and has enough health to withstand a fair amount of enemy attack.

Ok, now I finally get it, there is a use for my OCH dlc, lol. There is one more question though, just because its popular, why is it a problem?

Most players like being unique, or thinking that they're unique. So it bothers them to find everyone else walking around in the same outfit.
It's not a technical problem. It's just an aesthetic/psychological problem. And if it's not a problem for you, that's great. You can always wear a costume.

Not much has changed since 2014, but lots has changed since 2011. So it depends on when you left. In particular, Firestorm Citadel is not the hardest part of the game, although it is still the most farmed part of the game.

It depends on what you mean by "effective". Just about any armor can be used to beat the game, if you have enough skill and a good enough computer/connection.
The cheapest armor is the Azure Guardian line, because you get the recipes for free from the rank missions, thus saving yourself 50,000 crowns. However, this is some of the worst armor in the game, and there are lots of other costs besides recipes. So you should not get it.
Instead, spend a little extra to get armor that you really want. Which armor that is depends on which weapons you're using, and whether you can stand to play "glass cannon". See my armor guide.
