Sadly I missed that event, I stopped playing Spiral Knights but my started again now that It's on Steam and such, are they ever going to do that again? That hat is sooooo cool.

Fortunately, you can buy it on the auction house for cheaper than it ever cost to get one piece in the promo (you had to buy at least $19.95 worth of CE to get one random piece). Prices vary right now, but you can definitely get BOTH pieces of the color you want for less than 7500 CE.

Well it isn't REALLY cheaper.
First it was only $9.95 to get one piece.
Second you also got $9.95 worth of energy so unless the secondhand regalia comes with ten dollars worth of energy then it's still more expensive then when the promotion was going on.

one hitch in that is
1) Rose Regalia was limited time offer - so it is now rare
2) While you had to pay $10 for that amount of CE + Regalia people can get that much without paying a dime.
I take this to mean Rose Regalia is wroth quite a bit to some people - and I think that is reflected in what people are willing to pay for it.

Haha ive been looking for someone with a black set.. willing to pay ELEVEN THOUSAND CE for the set.. its moreso like 12,000 for the hat as the tabard is readily available but NOBODY has the hat..
But yeah.. there are so few around now..

It's not that people don't

Erm..
I have all sets unbound, one of each piece at least, and doubles of others.
I'll post in the bazaar about it, you can bidoff there. I'm not on much though, cuz I'm in Japan for the summer and there are no asian servers so all it does is frustrate me when I login and can't do anything and seem like I suck.
