No no no, when OOO designed whiskers they didn't want you to get social and be helpful. If you have three alts, you should find three books and bring your alts to all of them. Two alts can then use their three whiskers to craft two sets of 3* and 4* armour while the other two accounts upgrade them to 5*. Unbinding costs are nothing compared to the price of margel slots so this makes economical sense and leaves you at no risk for scams.

I only need one more whisker to finally be able to put this event behind me, and I do have a book on me, but that means I only really need one run to be good. If I were to use my book and take one run would it be okay if I found someone else to take the remaining slots? I don't need them at that point and I just want to share the love~

Well looks like sleep deprived me didn't state that 100% correctly. Shows me for staying up that late.
But I only need 2 whiskers, but I have a book myself, meaning I'd only need 1 slot that isn't my book. I could pick out one or two people for runs granted they're online.
But I'll ask around for interested people in that case. If I can't find anyone I suppose I could go for all 4 but at this point I'll have like, 4 unbound black kat cowls, so while I could unbind a black kat cloak made with whiskers I'd rather someone else be able to snag a few whiskers for their own set(s).
