There is no easy way to say this....
Energy prices suck.
An easy-ish solution:
Anyone willing to put some money in this game buys a small amount of energy, then aims to sell it for a small amount lower than the current price (100 to 500 crowns maybe?)
Anyway just a brainstorm I had. Theoretically it would work so long as all the people who do it don't post their prices at the same time.

It's only broken because there's been more going out than in at all prices.
They need to make SK go back to 1000 people average to fix this, and bring back jempire.
Basically reskin an LD map and release superbrawl. That and make farming shadowplay worthwhile.

if energy/coke was a bound thing...
I want to see that happens if energy was bount after first trade, a market free of re-selles, no way 200 players are different than 2000 players to a market, the same way so matter if you have 200 stores or 2000 stores in the captalism world, unless of course you can buy all cheapers products and sell it more expencive, oh! wait! that is what re-sellers are doing! (also coke cola lol).

So you are asking for ppl to buy energy for real money and then give you some? Why would anyone want to do that. The price is what it is cos thats the price sellers are willing to sell at. Asking on the forums won't make players go lower.

Well, I am considering getting some energy, mainly because it sells for so high. And I wouldn't mind dropping the price of the energy a little bit because I won't buy that much, so any losses will be made up in my next Clockworks run.

Carbon based error!
To stop simple-minded resellers, just sell energy for a price low enough that the 2% tax on energy makes reselling (at the current price) impractical. Do that over the course of a few months.

Eh.
Someone suggested simply removing the energy trading field in the trading window. Would make crowns the de-facto currency unless you're just itching to get scammed and it'd be easy to revert.
It went from people spamming buy offers at 9500cr a day ago to sale offers popping up to 10999cr today:
