This might be just me buuut...
Does anybody ever feel like, or, rather, just know the alchemer line's gun range is somewhat limited? Is this a bug? The bullet stops a good few blocks away, but it sorta defeats the purpose of a gun being a long range option, doesn't it?
And I guess this might just be empty sound to everyone else, but what're you guys opinions on the alchemer line bullet speed? I think one of the better ways to encourage more gunners is to increase the bullet speed ( not to antigua levels though ) and increase the range of the bullets.
I believe the damage and its learning curve is fine.
What do you guys think?
Readers may misunderstand your thread from the title. You're not really arguing that alchemers are weak. You're arguing that (A) the range is too short and (B) the bullet speed is too slow.
Buffing the bullet speed would help players land ricochets better on fast-moving targets. So (B) seems like it would be a bigger buff than (A). As a fan of alchemers, I'd like that. But I worry that it would make alchemers too powerful. Buffing both (A) and (B) would certainly make them too powerful.
