With the new chess pieces essentially being stackable statues, maybe we could have some chess puzzles in the clockworks! Something like a chessboard one move away from checkmate, and the player puts the right piece in the right spot and a door opens/treasure drops/something happens.
Lots of different ways to set these up as well, would be fun.

Now this....this is the inda stuff that would make this game awesome again. If the game had more complex puzzles, it would be kind of like Zelda, which is a good thing.

An excellent proposition. We have all the pieces in place already- pressure pads, movable statues, and of course the pieces themselves.
