Skylark mission

This idea popped into my head while reading one of SK fanfictions. Acording to lore after Skylark was attacked it crashed. It is said "and impacted towards Cradle upon it exploding, ultimately resulting in its crash on the surface". That exploding part give devs option to make missions. Something like durring explosion section of ship fell deeper into craddle and HQ managed to locate this section by detecting "signature" of some of their old tech that was part of that section. With this devs coud make new set of mission like they did with Operation Crimsom Hammer. We could look into interior of the Skylark itself and maybe even find some more lore. Of course this "set of missions" would need new villian, we already know about "iconic" gremlins like Razwog, Seerus and Herex. So devs could introduce new "One of the Nine" gremlin grandmasters who is trying to use SK technologi against them and have to be stopped. As for the reward, Skylark armor/helmet.

I know this description is quite vague but its all on devs to decide where they want this game to go, also i am terible at writing scenarios.... x( Hopefuly devs will take interest in this.

So let me know what you think about it. Pls no rage or insulting comments. There is proverb "If you cant say anything good, dont say anything." Criticism is welcome. Also i apologize for my grammar, english isnt my main language.

Fragment of the Skylark hidden in the Clockworks after doing about two useless Clockwork Tunnel levels? Sure.

This has to have some cool reward though, like Seeeus' rocket hammer.

I... Actually really like this idea. We could even have scenario rooms or several different locations. If it's an expansion our sensors could "suddenly have a familiar reading active", so we go investigate it. Perhaps gremlins have powered up an old piece of the skylark, or maybe slimes just crawled aboard and accidentally activated several working components... potentially several monsters have taken residence inside.

Regardless, it has a lot of opportunities to be used in several ways - could even have skylark be connecting two levels together as a sort of bridge!

From what you wrote you sound like all you care about is new boss to kill and new shiny reward.

I made this suggestion mainly for LORE. We know that SK are not native to Cradle. This could give us glimps on WHO or WHAT SK are, WHERE are they from in much more detail, when you look at wiki or play game there isnt much about them. You wrote about 2 useless floors. EVERY "boss" mission or even those daily missions are composed of 3 floors. Take Vanaduke and his citadel. First floor you fight through "outer rym" of Citadel or you could say "outer walls". Second floor you fight through "inner sanctuary" and you have to overcome several chalenges. Throne room - Boss fight. Same with OCH, you have to go through facility to get to Seerus. ITS THOSE 2 USELESS FLOORS they can use to expand LORE!! Override system to open blastdoors, at the same time override activate records or give acces to record modules that could tell us more about SK origins. There are alot of posibilities how they could use this. Haven is city built by Strangers, SK were let in. SK salvaged what they could from the ship and quickly left because it was going to explode (acording to wiki) by using Escape pods. Explosion however didnt have to mean total destruction of the Skylark, wiki mention it was only badly damaged. Lost technologi retrieval misions as "daily mission" from crashed ship. Monster extermination and securing sections of ship. WHOLE SKYLARK gives oportunities for expanding Lore. Thats what I want. I didnt buy OCH for loot but for LORE! However if its loot you care about, I am sure devs can cook something up. Some lost or forgoten SK equipment, equipment modefied by gremlins? That would allow introduction of new gremlin units. Since we are also talking about damaged/crippled ship, some damaged section could create area hazzard, that would have effect on monster families witch would alow to again to introduce some new monsters with new patterns.

But I am shooting ideas here and getting off tracks. My point is, every floor cant be as interesting or useless how you make them, if you dont like the mission dont play it.

As far as I can tell Blazecat was supporting your idea. Something like "navigate to where the skylark part is" is what they were getting at.

mebe the weapon could be a nerfed mixmaster that does normal damage and poison or no status. Also, maybe make it an expansion like OCH where you have to use irl cash to buy in the first 6 months. after that maybe its 3.2kce. Could generate a tiny bit of revenue if it isnt rushed
