Not much to do until they turn on fiend rooms in clockworks. :v
As I recall, they only showed up in fiend themed clockwork tunnels? We don't really have too many arcade gates that are fiend themed, and I think the only fiend stratum we have is in stratum 6 of one of the gates. Not very easy to farm as of right now, but it isn't like we can't farm fiend missions in the meantime.
I did a T3 run of the Emerald King Gate and the arena in depth 25 gave me 18 glyphs. I don't know how that compares to any of the fiend missions as I haven't tried farming from those, but I just want to put that out there.
I thought I remember seeing them appear in any clockwork tunnels at random as their own room, although my memory may just be fuzzy.
Either way, I'd like for a GM to double check this.
I ran into two fiend scenario arenas on the Diamond Clover gate in two fiend clockwork tunnels. They only appear in fiend-themed levels (fiend arenas, fiend clockwork tunnels, devilish drudgeries).
This is how it's been since the first event, so I see no reason it would change now.
Not even the haunted passages are spawning them. Are they really locked to that one gate with fiends in strata 6 barely anyone will care to travel to?
Sure, arcade generation isn't the best for this event right now, however it isn't any different than previous ones. There are several missions that can be farmed for glyphs as well.
I'm just happy we're getting more frequent events - it's allowing for a lot more specialized gear to get into everyone's hands in a timely manner!
Ehhh, call me when there's a new event then, pretty sure most of us who cared got it the first 4 times around. I really don't see myself getting an additional copy of a shield or tortogun I already have, if it implies wasting countless hours going out of my way.
Just because some of us have what we want from an event doesn't make the event any less desirable for players who don't have those toys yet.
While I have literally every item from this event I love running it because tortodrones are a fun boss to fight. Compare this to, say, the Black Kat event, where I ran it out of spite rather than for enjoyment. March of the Tortodrones is a really unobtrusive event, and I give it major props for that. Something to craft with excess shells would be nice (heck, we could get the ancient prize box to be craftable via ancient shells), however the event doesn't have any major problem other than it can be complete - which isn't a huge downside either.
(Additionally I thought this event wasn't gonna show up for another month at least, so imagine my glee when it decided to pop up much earlier)
Yes, this event is quite excellent.
A lot of players, I believe Fangel included(?), want to see torto-fist buffs and I'd like to see the normal tortodrone shield (which is balanced with ancient plate) to get more shield health so that it is the same as omega shell in terms of defenses, even if that means losing its stun. These are hardly that big of a concern though, seeing as to that.............

Unless it's on a delayed timer for starting, I think the fiend rooms aren't spawning in clockworks like they should.
