Which Vortex should I get? I primarily use a brandish line BUT I can also use my Leviathan with the Electron Vortex.
I'm just asking which one I should get if using a brandish line.

Definitely Electron Vortex. The main reason Electron Vortex is so much better than Graviton isn't because of the elemental vs shadow damage- you don't use the bombs for how much damage they deal alone. Vortex bombs will group monsters up together so that you can get a brandish charge on them, but a large amount of the time after Electron Vortex explodes, the monsters will be shocked and they won't be thrown everywhere. This allows you to get a second brandish charge, or possibly more.
In short, Electron Vortex sucks the monsters together and often keeps them together, allowing more damage, while the Graviton Vortex sucks them up and then throws them everywhere every time.

We've had many threads on this over the years. You can find them by searching Google for something like "vortex bomb site:forums.spiralknights.com" (without the quotation marks).
The consensus seems to be that Electron is the best, because shock (A) damages the monsters a lot when they're clumped together, and (B) partially stops the monsters from being flung all over the place when the vortex collapses.
The consensus seems to be that Obsidian Crusher is also quite good, because poison is nothing to scoff at.
Graviton Vortex really has nothing going for it, so it's the worst. It's the original, and the others are the result of power creep. That said, Graviton Vortex still helps you slaughter monsters quite efficiently. I mean, if you've never played with vortices, then even Graviton Vortex is enough to change your entire play style.

The only thing Graviton has going over Electron is damage, and it only wins on that if the shock doesn't outdamage it. Basically you bring it if you're a pure-bomber fighting gremlins and you haven't yet gotten an Obsidian Crusher.
Electron Vortex. Better coverage and utility, and OC outclasses GV.
The shock helps with keeping the mob together at the end as well.
