Prompted by losing a large amount of money to a typo, which Support team have kindly declined to provide any assistance with, I would like to make a suggestion that there is some kind of confirmation box when rasing the bid by more than a certain amount (ten times, 2000 crowns or something).

A better solution would be to make it automatically select a buyout on an identical item if possible. If I can't bid more than the buyout on one copy of the item, why would I ever want to bid more than that on an identical item? This wouldn't prevent typos on UV auctions, but it would help for most other goods.

The energy market gives a prompt, so I think it is only correct that the Auction House should too.

Edit: I just realised the absolute best solution would be system where you enter a maximum bid and it automatically bids with other players in mimumum increments up to that amount - like a certain famous auction website or the auction system example which every programmer has to do in synchronization 101.
