I have to get this off of my chest. I know that this probably won't be cared for that much.

I have been dying on the inside with the desire to make a mod for SK. Not like a Minecraft mod. A mod as in a remake of the game using the same engine. I don't know why this has been troubling me for so long, but I've always wanted to do it.

If you look at Counter Strike, Valve's raised a lot of money off of that mod.

That's really all I have. Sorry if this doesn't count as SK discussion. Move if necessary.

I am unsure, but I think SK uses Blender. At least for 3D modeling... maybe? You see, Ian McConville, the former lead artist for SK, works at a different studio (Monomi Park which is founded by ex-OOO employees), and he did a live stream once on Twitch. During this he made the comment that roughly said, "At the last studio I worked at, we used Blender."

I assume that means OOO used Blender. Be it as the engine or just for 3D modeling I'm not so sure about, but hey... it's a start... maybe?

Hmm

Maybe not a remake, but maybe make something inspired by it? I mean, many people have made their own fan games based off of whatever they like and at least made sure to give credit to where they got their ideas from. Unless ya know, it's still against ToS, but I don't know much of it (didn't read it of course, I just make sure I don't do anything bad).
