Software, including Java and Steam client are fully updated.
Checking out at the Energy Depot brings up pop-up displaying the message: Checkout via the Steam interface. But, no 'Steam interface' appears. I cannot purchase energy or starter packs.
Please assist.

forgot to tell, instead of mac im using windows vista.
Same problem, unable to purchase starter pack through steam, money is in account waiting. Gave up and installed through sega with new character and bought starter pack last night, now cant log in through that account.

Yes, but the accounts steam players are using to log into the message boards and buy energy through this site are not linked to their Steam accounts.

I cant buy energy from the site, I cant get from steam. This makes the game not worth playing

For those on Steam, make sure you Steam wallet is funded before trying to purchase CE in the game. The wallet is restricted in some countries, which is another problem in itself, and will prevent you from purchasing if thats the case.
Steam Overlay must be enabled for the game and for the Steam preferences.
