Graveyards! PLEASE!

Today I decided to do a T3 arcade run in the Sapphire Falcon Gate (it has 3 arenas and 2 chances at a treasure vault, there need to be more gates like this :O...) and it took me to a graveyard. So already at this point I'm kind of annoyed, because I hate graveyards. They take too long and phantoms are obnoxious. But I digress... The main peeve I have with this graveyard is this: http://i.imgur.com/CHJK9uY.png.
So what's the problem? There's just a bunch of hallways with red circles around them. You see, those hallways are the problem. There is absolutely no reason for it to take me 15 minutes to get through such a short graveyard because I had to break 4 billion stone blocks with only a DBB, Iron Slug, and Seraphynx's Ray. Whose idea was it that they would put so many obstacles that just take too much time to get through for no reason? To make matters worse, most of them had those timed explosive blocks that force you to wait before you can go through, so essentially the Disintegration Ray is useless for them. The entire level had four fights in it; about 80% of the time I spent in the stupid graveyard was walking through hallways and waiting for the blocks to explode. I'm dead inside.

Oh yeah, the suggestion. How about more zombies and less blocks? Thanks.

They're there to give the phantoms time to respawn and haunt you.

Just bring better suited

Just bring better suited weapons for that level. You can't blame the design when your weapons choice is obviously the issue. Ever heard of a cutter?

Would be nice if "timer bomb"

Would be nice if "timer bomb" blocks were removed though.

Just....shorten phantom respawn? More danger less wait.

Telling me that I can't take my weapon of choice to any certain area because there are lots of stone blocks is not a solution. Why should they design a map so that I have replace a weapon that I find fun to bring one that I'm not going to use for any reason other than breaking blocks. It's trash design, simple as that. Anything that is made entirely to slow down the pace of a game for no actual reason is not worth defending.

I'd actually like to see a mechanic where blast-type Bombs do one level of break-age to every block in their radius. The way they work with blocks currently is just silly.

Personally, I thought bringing shard bombs was pretty good preparation for trying to do a shards-only Ironclaw Munitions Factory run.

Whoops

Tbh when I saw his response I automatically assumed that he was joking- I've only ever viewed phantoms as a nuisance and not a core mechanic for the graveyards. My bad, but I do think that it doesn't add much difficulty, if any, to them.

Phantoms are literally the entire gimmick of graveyards. Since they spawn on a timer slowing down players is a valid way to make sure they have to deal with them, multiple times.

A similar thing would be like saying "remove grimalkins from candlestick keeps and add more kats into them". That takes out the entire gimmick of the level and replaces it with more of the same. Phantoms are also literally the only non-premium constant source of the curse status. While they might not seem like much, they can cause a lot of problem - which is a good thing for a level with lots of dust zombies (which are fairly easy to kill).
