Spiral Knights Support is one of the lowest support teams ever sadly,
When you get scammed more than 5 times, it kinda silly, I know it might be my fault as well but, why do we have a support team while they wont help.
Let me pass the Dreadful Aura scam, the 4ke (easy thing to get anyway), the Bkc fire+nor max, the 66ke Faraday, but this one i wont kinda forget or forgive the Support team for it, nowdays when i do any deal even if im selling ecto drop i'd take a screenshot for it lol.
But when it comes that the scammer says he's a scammer it gets really silly,
I sent Sks that i got scammed it was like week ago, that i made a deal with someone called Armowing, Prob changed his name now, and i got him saying that he's a scammer what ever after that i sent Sks a ticket and asked them for help. but as always they said that they can't help.
Those who're scammer never gets ban or w/e and those who do nothing get ban..
Anyway if you're that useless it would be better just to quit that "job"
Scam =/= Rip off, Rip off gives ce/cr or anything but scam doesn't leave you anything.

1more thing for those who're into buying games, just check twice before doing anything.. scammers might be anywhere.

three things

I'm sorry that you haven't gotten the customer support that you want. It seems that Grey Havens is very limited in their resources. Optimistically, perhaps they are putting their effort into some small game improvements, such as guild halls and slime casinos.

You're not allowed to "name and shame" on the forums. So consider editing out the name of the person who offended you.

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." But you've been fooled more than five times?! Stop getting scammed.

Eh?

How the hell does one even get scammed? It's a pretty simple trade window and all the items are in-game tradable.

@Bopp, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." But you've been fooled more than five times?! you can say this when im getting scammed from the same person over and over. But when it comes that i have proves And Sks says that they can't help, it kinda stupid.

You know you messed up when

You know you messed up when you get roasted by Bopp.

Sewyy, getting scammed means you need to work on your street smarts. Trust nobody, but act friendly. Always think before you act, and don't get drawn in by grandoise acting or pretty smiles and nice words.

To be fair though, I have never traded steam games though, so it might be different. But if it works like normal steam trading, then you definitely messed up.

er

As far as I know, the Spiral Knights support area can only provide help via the tools inside the game. External links such as screenshots will not make your case any stronger due to the fact that screenshots can be edited/modified. In order to report a player's activities, you need to use the /complain chat function, or click on the player and click on "complain" from the dropdown.

As long as you do this in a timely manner, support can help you since the /complain function grabs data from the current game session you're in, such as chat, trade history, etc. Since this information cannot be altered by a third party, it is the only information someone on a support channel can use to help you.

Lastly, if you're being scammed by the same person over and over, perhaps you should stop attempting to do trades with them?

WOW FANGEL IS TELLING NEW

WOW FANGEL IS TELLING NEW STUFF. Stop trying to make Sk a GREAT GAME. Itsnt just admit it lol. And the support is nearly...nothing? Maybe sk is one of its kind. But who cares. I sent alot of complains and told them to read the chat logs they never answered. Lol

@Lethal. For me i never heard of Bopp...? And as i said up there ^ lets just forget thr other 4. Because there were on steam trades. But the scammers said him self hes scamming me.

And theres some program. Idk something like that. Can remove the edits/modifi if it really happened. Im not a programmer but i heard of such thing. So for a case like this with this mount of ce. Lets say its Big mount like none can get it so fast while im F2P
The support team should take a closer look.

Anyway im quitting.

^Go ahead.

Go ahead and quit. As said above by @Putkisen-Seta spiral knights trading is fairly simple. Get scammed? Think about what you did wrong. It's your fault you got scammed. Be more careful next time. It's seriously your fault. I think everyone agrees that internet is not a safe place and you should never fully trust strangers. If one fails succeeding at something, one learns from mistakes. You obviously don't.

I've met them in game and Sewwy is one of the many people that make the game awesome lol. Please don't encourage them to leave because they don't like getting scammed. That doesn't make sense; wouldn't you rather the scammer leave?

"i never heard of Bopp...?"

Bopp is their forum name. No-More-Starlight is my forum name, for now. Fehzor, was my original IGN. We do this because it gets really awkward when you're walking through Haven and someone looks over and goes OMG ITS FEHZOR!!! as if you're Kim K or something. We don't know who Bopp is and they play solo etc. so we probably never will... which is unfortunate-- there have been some times when I could really have used a friend and Bopp pretty much just ignored me completely, even when it was mostly just the two of us posting on the arsenal.

"the Spiral Knights support area can only provide help via the tools inside the game"

That's kind of garbage. Yes, the screen shot could have been tampered with, but it's probably not the case at all. It'd be nice if they were to see the screenshot and at least keep an eye on the person, you know?

"this information cannot be altered by a third party"

I mean..

uh

So you're contacting Spiral Knight support over a trade that happened via a service they cannot screen and therefore cannot assist you with? Sounds like you should take this up with Steam support, as they will have all the logs to work with.

It's like you handing someone $50 in cash IRL because you can't buy energy in the game and then trusting them to give you $50 worth of energy. There's zero way for support to know if that actually happened or if you're just making up some crazy lie about someone.

Also I find it humorous that you attack my positive attitude when literally the only post I made in this thread is about how, on a technical level, there's nothing that can be done.
It would be nice to get an official statement on whether or not support can help with anything that happens over steam trades though. I assume they cannot help since that's through steam but I could be wrong.

*Anyway im quitting.*

I would recommend you do so you won't get scammed anymore.

Ingame, you shouldn't be able to get scammed because they have that trade system.
If you get scammed out of SK, then it's not their problem.
When you trade 1 for 1 items on Steam, STEAM WARNS YOU.

**Holladolla has not offered any items in the trade. When this trade is completed, you will not receive anything. If Holladolla has promised you Steam Wallet funds, CD-Keys, or other items outside the trade window, they may be attempting to scam you.

Please confirm that you are giving your items away, and expect nothing in return.**

Btw their support was amazing when I was still very active, they helped me recovery *rare* auras that I had destroyed by accident/failed to recover.

So in other words you think

So in other words you think you can go around falling for scams and expect no consequence from this because the support team is supposed to follow you around and undo every scam you fell for?

Hmm...
lol
