Hello fellow Knights! So I watched Enfeebler Sk's video about the Overcharged Mixmaster (just in case your wondering the link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTUESLNOIbE). In the video, it is mentioned that the shots fired from the gun are like 1 block away from it.

It is even proven as Enfeebler shoots those stones from the barrier. I wonder if we will be able to do this in Lockdown? I mean it could change everything because you were able to shoot the person standing right outside of your locker room waiting for you to come out then kill you but instead you just shoot him with the Mixmaster bullets!

But since I am poor and can not afford the Mixmaster, I wonder if it is actually able to do the thing I mentioned above?

Thanks in Advance!

promo-only item

It's expensive because it's rare, because it available only as part of paid promos.

I'll let players who have this gun comment on its Lockdown applications.

Not much more to add, but 45K CE is actually really low for it. It's around 90K CE/200 dollars now.

yes, people were doing that in LD when it was bugged. Shooting into the locker room area, too.

Pooke.

Yep it no longer works in Lockdown. It's a rather difficult weapon to use in there because its so glitchy, it disrupts the normal playstyle for most people. For example, it doesn't work in Lockdown if you shoot while moving forward. The bullets explode on your own character, but deals no damage. This is pretty critical, especially for players who move where they face.

It's also rather glitchy for boxes/blocks because the bullets own hitbox is awkward. I've personally unleashed a full clip (6 bullets) on a stone block (3x to break) and have not been able to break it.

Alright

What are the chances of getting it in the prizebox and which prizebox does it come from?

But still 200 dollars for just a weapon is...... bull crap

Info dump because research and math is fun

The Overcharged Mixmaster was available with a ~10% drop chance from a Confection Prize Box during the Confection Prize Box Promotion from August 27th, 2014 to September 9th, 2014. The boxes were available for $4.95 and CE at the time was around 7.2kcr/100CE. That means that on average it would cost you $49.50 worth of boxes to get a mixmaster, so it should have gone for around 15kCE using the rate of

With the price of CE currently at around 10kcr, this means that the price has increased by 600% in CE and 400% in dollars since its launch.

Sounds about right.

It's a weapon that's exclusively in promotional boxes, which has a unique attack style and parameters. There's no other way to obtain it, essentially. On top of that it's relatively powerful for a gun towards mobs. The main reason its so expensive is just that the demand for it is incredibly higher than supply. It's one of those "legendary rich people" items.

actually its not quite fixed

The bullets return to the player, not their spawn point, so in lockdown matches where the map has open sides (no wall at the end of the locker room mist one, such as the map that looks like the gloaming wildwoods) you can shoot under the wall and move up it, bringing the shots up into the locker room

@Vohtarak

You can also do this with alchemer charges. Nobody really does this because it's hella inefficient and you are also extremely vulnerable to guns and other things that are fired inside the base. I guess it would be nice if they put little walls up to prevent this but overall there are much worse situations with maps
(avenue for example).

@Klipik

No, it says slot is 10%. That means it shares the slot with other 10% items, such as the power mitt. Overall there is a 5% chance, although it could be anywhere from .0001 to 10%, since we don't know the distribution of the items in the slot.. but it's probably 5%.

Alchemers dont have the spread of a mixmaster so its not as easy to hit people, but if anyone is near the wall when mixmaster shots go through its much easier to hit them, especially during spawncamps when everyone's grouped up at the wall
