Look up Drake mail\helm with
Look up Drake mail\helm with angelic mail\helm. Has all defense against everything if you use 1 of each, plus damage bonuses against enemies weak to peircing, so you can use a shadow and elemental weapon.

Skolver and Divine Veil
If you want all around defense, Skolver with a UV on either stun or poison is good. Skolver gives piercing and normal protection plus freeze. Add in Divine Veil and your over all defense goes Normal, Pierce, Elemental, Shadow. Plus protection from Fire, Curse, Shock, Freeze and Poison/Stun/Sleep if you get a UV.
