I decided to take a break from the game about 2-3 months ago. Has anything new happened since then? Or is there any major update coming up? (New missions, or new weapons?)
Anything new?
If you quit 2-3 months ago, then you quit well after Grey Havens took over.
We have some new guild hall cosmetics/items, and maintenance fees have been lowered significantly.
Grey Havens seems to be cycling events/promos more frequently than did Three Rings.
So, nothing big or exciting, but more than we've gotten from Three Rings in a long time.
I think I wasn't accurate enough, because I was there till the GSC update.
@Bopp
What are you talking about specifically in events/promos?
Also, another question I had- How are the CE prices at the moment?
@Boneblinder
They did the kat and torto event in pretty quick succession and they also rereleased hunter except recolored the newer accessories like sensor units. Also, they added a hunter slime lockbox to the GSC that has hunter slime accessories, they're actually rather expensive too. cx
CE prices have been a rollercoaster lately depending on whether or not there's an event or promo of some sort. The slime casinos seem to be rapidly sinking crowns, but the E prices generally rise back up to 10k per 100 after some time. Right now it just looks like slow and steady progress to stabilize the energy market.
10k is alot for 100 CE. I don't really understand what you mean by "The slime casinos seem to be rapidly sinking crowns". Do you mean they are being used more excessively than crowns? Or are they degrading the value of crowns?
What he means is that crowns have become more valuable, since everything inside of the Slime Casino event runs on it instead of CE, which means that people are going to be willing to cough up more CE for less crowns. Basically the amount of crowns that people are going to get/can give for CE is being lowered due to there being a higher demand for crowns due to the Slime Casino as a crownsink.
Well, at least one can hope for the CE prices to go lower.
During slime casinos, crown cost to purchase energy has dropped to 8.6k. Right now, the casino just ended, and it's back up to 10k.
Seems like Grey Havens is trying their hand at sinking crowns passively. Iron guildhall update added many more items to the birdsong emporium while reducing upkeep costs. This encourages more people to make guilds and spend on furnishings instead of trying to panic to maintain upkeep.
The slime casino keeps people rolling for those lockboxes - each iteration (other than the latest one) has had new stuff added to them, keeping the experience desirable.
People are just getting baited into burning their cr on overpaying for ah featured items and gambling on casino with no returns because they're too hurt to buy back energy. Additionally, some went p2w to not "lose" at the Econ, even though if you p2w that means you're a consumer, not a marketer. I'm just riding off dank profits from people being baited into not wanting ce to go up. It's starting to bubble up because it's reaching a point where marketers buying each other's buy offers out is starting to end, with the realization most buying up of cr has been cr hoarders who want to buy back ce in the future and not p2w who actually burn up cr.
People turning poor because of being baited into subsidizing the Econ is not the same as money being inserted into the system.
To bring you up to speed, OOO's been shuttered by SEGA's layoffs to them, GH opened, SK's been transferred to GH, they took the obligation to continue the game instead of shutting it down, resumed development, added the Golden Slime Casino, that's gotten some new things over time, & made new Iron Guild Hall updates.
Did I leave anything out, or is that all so far?
