Some use for the sleep status resistance? (Idea/Suggestion for the game)

And now i know everyone is gonna laugh at my idea cause no one can respect someone's idea (and no one ever respects supports)

My idea is a Tranquilizer... yes ... a tranquilizer ... it can put enemies and allies to sleep ...(which does heal them over time but just wait) You know there are those bracelets or whatever and some equipment that have sleep status resist on them? Say for example you tranq one of your allies ... they dont fall asleep cause of the sleep status resistance ... but they also get healed over time and yeah it kinda sounds trollish ... but kicking a player is 2 clicks away ... and for those who say "But the new players are gonna make that gun and it might ruin their game cause they wont be able to progress" ... Then just make the gun available only for 4* and 5*... the tranq could be used to heal allies after a battle or a hiding ally in a corner mid battle ... but it would also be good to use it to heal those tanks that wont fall asleep (and no certain bosses like vana/Jelly king and the twins wouldnt fall asleep)

Crafting Route: Antigua(3*),Tranquilizer Mark 1(4*), Tranquilizer Mark 2(5*) (Yeah it needs a better name but i am just giving an idea)
So the weapon would deal no dmg ... have extremely slow firing speed + only 1 bullet (For ballance :P so you wouldnt spam it everywhere since it heals you)
Enemies like Beasts,Gremlins and Fiends would be kinda easier to put to sleep than Slimes,Constructs and Undead

Sadly when do devs check ideas like these? ... And for humanity's sake dont laugh because you dont like an idea -.-

The reason why sleep doesn't exist any more is because knights would purposefully take damage from a monster to inflict sleep on themselves and full heal off of it. Why would they make a gun centered around exploiting that issue?

And why is a gun with a slow firing speed an upgrade from antigua, the fastest gun in the game?

Well if they didnt want the sleep mechanic in the game they could at least remove it from any equipment and any items that give you sleep resistance ...
And why not ... just because its a fast gun that doesnt mean it can not be "downgraded" when you upgrade it some of the games i have played do that ... and i see nothing wrong with that and i dont think sleeping mid fight with a huge crowd of enemies is a good idea ... especially if it is fiends or monsters that can poison you
Plus the antigua would be one of the most realistic guns to turn it into a tranq ...
AND also because by crafting the tranq from the antigua it will not ruin a new player's game experience (like the winmillion which cant be upgraded to 5*) ... cause they dont need a support at low levels ... but a defender elite/vanguard kinda needs it
And it doesnt have to be the classic healing from when someone is put to sleep ... at 4* make it 1 heart per 1 sec and at 5* make it 2 per 1 sec
And this will give the chance for tanks in this game ... to actually be tanks and not die like everyone else...

Sleep as a status is broken, however the "heal from sleep" thing is way too overrated.

In order to heal, you need to take damage. That damage needs to be sufficient enough to inflict the status, which is not a 100% chance, and you have to be asleep long enough that you out-heal the damage you took. With all the additions to the game since the removal of sleep levels, it's even less of a problem (emergency revive healing you at elevators and all).

The thing that is bad about this weapon is that you can "heal" teammates. Not only could it be used to grief other players, but it would have the side effect of accidentally killing friends in combat (missed an enemy, hit a teammate) and also the infinite amount of downtime between fights could be spent very slowly healing on demand. It's why the seraphynx requires enemies to drop more hearts - otherwise it would be quickly abused.

However, a sleep themed weapon (just like any other weapon, does damage, can inflict status) would be a more than welcome addition once sleep is fixed. Many fixes have been offered over the years, but currently the animation is awkward so if for nothing else, fixing that animation would be needed.

You see ... the use of a tranq in battle would truly need some skill to actually use ... ofc there is always the option to kick the player if he does not want to change the tranq for any of his reasons (like "I dont have any other weapon") And sure it would sometimes consume a lot of battle time but wasting sparks is worse than spending 2 more minutes in battle ... and ofc the tranq doesnt have to be 100% sleep chance ... say for the 4* it would be like 45% and for the 5* it would be like 75%
And i do agree with what you said about outhealing the dmg you will take when sleeping cause there might be an enemy right in front of you outdamaging your healing process
