Note that all runs were done in Elite difficulty and most enemies were skipped.

17 000 Crowns
180 Glowing Fire Crystals
6 Golden Slime Coins
3 Sparks Of Life
1 Elite Orb Of Alchemy

I think whoever got "0,44 elite orbs per run" needs to seriously reconsider his calculations.

You're probably referring to the Lancer Knightz mission rarities data set. The Uncertainty section of that page explains the Sewer Stash numbers in detail. You can see the data and check the calculations yourself. You can even see that the 95% confidence interval for the average number of orbs per run is [0.18, 0.90].

Those Lancer Knightz data are for the complete run. You've been running only the first floor, so you haven't seen as many treasure boxes.

Huh.

"Those Lancer Knightz data are for the complete run."

Oh, I see.

That does make more sense then, but I can't help but feel like most people mean the first floor exclusively when they're talking about the mission and how easy it is to farm elite orbs there.

they take a short cut

Yes, they take a short cut. They do a "mini-run" that produces about 1/3 of the rewards in less than 1/3 of the time. But they don't expect to get 0.44 orbs per mini-run.

Welp.

That being said, for less than a third of a full run's time, you do get a decent and almost-constant rate of 6 Glowing Fire Crystals per mini-run.

It may be worth finding out similar mini-runs for other fire crystals like shining ones.
