I started playing this game a few days ago, and so far am loving it, enough that I have been considering buying something, as I'm sure Three Rings would appreciate it. I was just wondering whether you guys would consider the starter pack to be a good deal. The one star weapons it comes with aren't of any use to me, as I have mostly 2 star stuff now. The other stuff, as well as the 7,500 CE it comes with though are rather appealing. What do you all think?
Would you recommend the Starter Pack?

It is definitely a good deal, if you intend to spend that much money. You can play and have a lot of fun without that, but if you intend to pute some $$ into the game, that pack is prolly the best deal you can have...

Definitely. You will never want to go back to 2 weapon slots after having the extras though =) The mix of items is great for getting started and it costs about the same as a movie.

I kind of wished that they were 30 log in days instead of 30 calendar days.. but they're just so damn good XD
And Malyce is right, you'll never want to go back to 2 weap slots only.

What exactly is there in the Starter Pack? I checked out the features listed in the store, but where they say "2 weapon slots, 2 trinket slots," are those PERMANENT or are they the same 30-calendar-day purchase as from the energy-face Stranger in Haven, but bought for money instead of energy?

just buy several 1 month slots to activate your slot(s) for more than one month...
The Mist Tanks and Slot upgrades mean you get more than 7500 CE worth of actual stuff.
(Despite the "All items are bound" disclaimer, I hear that the slot upgrades are tradeable. So if you don't want to use them, you can trade them to other players for a bit more CE.)
