I was trying to buy a Orbit Gun for 20$ eng. Its a fair price if u think about it because NOTHING IN ANY VIDEO GAME SHOULD COST OVER 20$.
I mean SERIOUSLY! Why would i spend 100 or 200$ on a SINGLE 5* GUN?!?! I know math says its worth over 100$ but whos gna have OVER 50K ENG?!

Here are my ratings of eng prices
--------------------------------------

2.5$: Useless for Steam users and ud probobly be buying either rads or a silver key but ok.
5$: Thats a fair amount :P
10$: I wish it was cheaper but ok.
20$: Pricey but i can deal with it i guess
50$: HAHAHAHAHA no
100$: What would u even do with that?

Now for some PRIZE BOX RATINGS
--------------------------------------------
1 box: Small Thing, Large Price
5 boxes: What do u even want to do with 5 One variant tickets?
14 boxes: Rich kids only
30 boxes: U might not wanna skip work tomorrow
45 boxes: Stop while you can
60 boxes: I warned you
75 boxes: You probably got a shield or gun by now. So why not use those 74 1 UV tickets?
90 boxes: You might wanna get a much better job than working at McDonald's or any fast food place...
105 boxes: Good luck with ur credit card bill! (Says while taking a picture of the front and back of the credit card)
200 boxes: To get this many boxes u need to be Bill Gates' family member or close friend...

I mean seriously. The prices in this game are getting WAY out of hand. The only people with good stuff are either people with jobs or rich kids. I mean Its so sad how 3 rings made things so pricey that GH really cant lower the price of everything. Raising drop rates of stuff in prize boxes by a lot would result in the game being too easy. Lowering the price of prize boxes would work though! Not that it would be A LOT better than upping drop rates but still. I think its more stable than upping drop rates. Basically im trying to say that GH needs to keep the same drop rates but lower EVERY item's price in the game by a certain amount depending on how useful it is. Like rads for example. Make all fire crystal prices go down by like 25%. IDK why people think that this would make them lose a lot of money. Because if they lower prices it has a VERY good chance of bringing people back if the word gets out very smoothly and easily. Now i understand that they cant do this now because they spent a ton of money when they bough SK ill bet. To wrap this up imma repeat what i said at the beginning. Who's gna spend 100$ for something on a screen?

Edit: Basically the message here is for players to STOP making things so overpriced and for GH to help with the process. Now for all those people who sell 5* recepies stuff for 50k crs and stuff like dat i want u all to play this in ur mind... "The current price for a 5* promo gun that is obtainable twice a year is 90k ENG" over and over until u get some sense in ur head.

You're... You're complaining about a player set price for a specific (rare) item in a prize box? That's not something that can be "fixed", per say.

However, Grey Havens could alter the box contents so that they're more desirable. Right now, the UV tickets taking up 80% of the chances in a promotional box is asking to be ripped off. The fact that UV tickets have a determined, in-game pricing just adds salt to the wound.

Since celestial items themselves are what are being promoted, and we have a significant number of them at this point, I would thus recommend the following chances:

    - 3% chance for the following:
    Orbit Aura
    Solar Plasma Wings
    Cosmic Plasma Wings
    Celestial Dragon Wings
    Celestial Valkyrie Wings

    - 14% chance for the following:
    Celestial Orbitgun
    Celestial Saber
    Celestial Shield
    Celestial Vortex

    - 30% chance for the following:
    Celestial Cat Tail
    Celestial Wolver Tail
    Celestial Plume
    Celestial Mech'tenna
    Celestial Spike Mohawk
    Celestial Bolted Vee

    - 35% chance for the following:
    Stellar Sentinel Helm
    Stellar Sentinel Suit
    Celestial Nav Helm
    Celestial Nav Suit
    Galactic Guardian Helm
    Galactic Guardian Vest

    - 3% chance for three 3 Variant Tickets

    - 5% chance for four 2 Variant Tickets

    - 10% chance for five 1 Variant Tickets

Each Equinox Box also includes at least 1 Confetti item with an additional chance to contain up to 3.

With these changes, it makes each box exciting to open, and also makes all the celestial gear (which are unique weapons btw) accessible. Orbitgun may remain an expensive bit of gear, but at the very least there would be more in circulation.

@OP

Your ratings are a bit low. Celestial items are under 1%, so you'd expect closer to 200 boxes per item, mayhaps.

@Fangel and this one is serious so actually read it LOL

I think. That Fangel is under thinking it. The people that paid for these rare items would be losing out majorly. Rather, we should remove the UV tickets and put some form of new color scheme in, like perhaps silver.

Since the items in question are all quite beautiful, it would make sense to just make 'free' variants of them.
Celestial Saber = Scissor blades, possibly 5* honor blade
Celestial Orbit Gun = Recoloured Callahan
Celestial Vortex = Recoloured Electron Vortex
Celestial Shield = Shield bracelet

These can all be placed on the featured auctions for say, bid price starting at 1 cr, one per week. Not one of each per week. Just one per week. Desireable, rare, but also not prize box exclusive.

The main trouble of that box

The main trouble of that box is that it was designed for old system, when you buy energy and get box as additional gift.

aye

I've had the idea of a new color scheme in the past, just wasn't thinking about it at the time of that post. That's another good example of a way to keep the current items desirable without having it all locked behind a 20% luck wall.

Something like grey, blue... Well actually, look at the blazing and vile prize boxes for how to make it work. Those promos both had intriguing rare costumes while also having a standard color scheme, so something that matches the celestial stuff would work perfectly for a standalone box.

I still think that the equipment in these boxes should be more accessible, especially since they are all unique. Unless we have a year-round way of acquiring them, they need to have reasonable chances to get.

I dislike how prize boxes are

I dislike how prize boxes are stuck behind paywalls! And then the seasonal event variants don't nearly give as awesome as these special promo boxes.

The promos should also be obtainable by some event of some sort, and those "rare-to-get items" need to be placed in a weekly sale or something that could be bought with Energy.

Maybe a very tiny amount of items could be put at the back of prize boxes, but stuff like Mixmaster and Orbit Gun are, in a sense, not fair at all to those who play F2P.

Most rare items are stacked high up on paywalls. This shouldnt be a thing... Rare items should be stacked behind grindwalls of, say, a boss or seasonal event boss. Margrel is a good example of doing it the right way, though Black Kats need to be a permanent feature as some players are simply not lucky enough to score themselves a BoDR during the event.

wut

Margrel isn't an example of "the right way"... Tortodrones is closer to the "right" way.

Prize boxes being "premium content" when it's all cosmetic is fine. Prize boxes housing unique and powerful gear is not fine. I'm fine with only a few people having celestial valkyrie wings, but I'm not okay with there being tiny amounts of celestial sabers or orbit guns in circulation.

Margrel is a good idea but I don't like how it yields Black Kat attire. I highly recommend GH to put in cosmetic items instead.

Cosmetic items are fine in prize boxes, yes, but having [weekly] sales would be more efficient and hold less of the RNG junk. More players could get a chance to buy some exotic items that would re-appear rarely every so often in another sale. I feel like going about to releasing cosmetics this way would promote Energy sales but also let players know for sure they'll be getting what they want.
