This also has another purpose. Its showing how GREEDY people in this game have gotten. Im not saying they havent paid that much btw. im saying they SHOULDNT HAVE TO. WHY WOULD SOMEONE HAVE TO PAY OVER 100$ JUST TO GET 1 THING IN A VIDEO GAME?! Maybe because its worth that much? HAH! It's a thing on a screen. A thing on a screen that can EASILY be deleted should NOT cost over 100$. Not even 20$. Im starting to think it wasnt 3 rings who made this game such a Pay To Win. Now im being driven to thinking it was the large majority of players that think a stone IRL is worth $1000.

Supply and demand? I imagine a weapon with a 1% drop rate will be very hard to come by, and I also imagine a lot of people are after it.
Regardless of an item being physical or digital if a lot of people are scrambling to get one and there aren't enough to go around people will take advantage, such is life!

Fallen, this is basic economics. Once you take the class you'll understand. But as someone else said, as supply goes down, and demand rises, price goes up. Price is proportional to demand and inversely proportional to supply.
And, there are rocks worth $1000 IRL. They are called diamonds.
Also, it's just a thing on a screen? So is facebook. Worth billions. That could be deleted as well. Welcome to the real world. (And to correct you, technically the orbitgun does exist IRL, it is just an assortment of transistors).

all it takes is skill
if the people who are that greedy want to have gud weapons like that then all they need is to know how to code their own weapons into their own private sandbox game. Or just copy SK's programming, remove multiplayer, turn it into a sandbox and then not EVER release it into the public so they wont get in trouble (if were allowed to do those steps that is.)
Im only promoting these steps if the people are allowed to make a PRIVATE version of this game btw. If we arent allowed to modify our game but remove multiplayer so that there isnt any unfairness between the modded character and all the other legit ones then DONT DO IT.
Btw in this PRIVATE means dont release it on steam or as a downloadable thing for the public. just keep the sandbox to urself

I think you're completely out of touch, you really need to close this thread. You won't get your gun at this price; feel free however to try and buy the boxes, get one and see how much you wanna sell it for, should you ever unbox one.

I got the orbitgun from 5 boxes (well, 10including the ones that i opened during march)
The Equinox prize box is kinda like a Go big or go home box.
So it makes sense to sell these solstice items at a high price, for it is not just about how good the item is but how rare it is.
There's about 50% chance that you will get nothing but a 1-varient ticket...
But that's the probablilty within one box, not all of them.
You might be able to get a orbitgun, but most of the boxes will be UV tickets or celestial vees, which you may find as absolutly worthless.
So of course you will want to put a really big price on items especially orbitguns, celestial swords, and especially celestial vortex (which didnt come out this time...) to also make up for the boxes that had the blooper tickets in them.
Also, if you think tht the price for these items are too high, go look at other games.
CS:GO sells this one skin (doesnt make it stronger or anything, just makes the gun look cool) for 3000-4000 dollars .
Now, stop complaining and buy it off me for 900000 energy.

Theres an alternative
Ferzhor made a REALLY gud drop rate list that keeps the gun and weapons rare but at least acessible. Also i actually am talking to someone about getting one for that price so i have a chance of it lol.

For a <1% drop from an Equinox box, 8kE plus about 450E for the run is a pretty low offer, bud :(
