This was my very first pumpkin, ever carved. My impressions are that it's cool, requires focus with the knife to prevent unnecessary accidents and also that pumpkins smell really bad. Went for something simple as my first one, but i'll definitely step up my game for the second one.

~Description: I used three pumpkins to make this. One was for the body, one was for the head, and one was for the accessories. I decided that instead of having it hold a cup of coffee, (how boring) that it should have it hold a skull in the spirit of Halloween! The hardest part was highlighting certain parts of the body so that it looked realistic and I REALLY like how the horns turned out! I had SO MUCH FUN putting this together and I'm very proud of my creation, especially since this is my first time entering this contest!!! I will proudly display it on Halloween for the whole world (my neighborhood) to see!

Here is a Vog Cub pumpkin, made from one regular pumpkin, two spaghetti squashes, and a few bamboo sticks for support. I felt a full-body sized Vog Cub would be too unstable for the likes of pumpkins, so I went with a curled position with the large pumpkin acting as the tail curling up against the body.
