I fired up the client, got the most recent update, went to login and there was no character art in the Knight Selection Screen. I picked my knight anyway and went to haven and everything is black. The overhead map works, I can see people talking and their names, but nothing with 3D is rendering. I know it isn't my hardware / software for graphics as nothing has changed there. Only thing I did was run the most recent update. Anyone have any thoughts on how to get the art back?

That actually sounds like some of the graphic files that the game stores on your computer might be faulty. I'd suggest uninstalling the game and then installing a fresh copy.
i think that only admins or mods know how to fix that
