I am not aware if this has been suggested before so I'm gonna do my best to describe this idea.

Okay so first off What you can do with Map Making It should allow you to get creative with premade structures and builds, the game can get dull so being able to have people create their own unique puzzles or creative models or thing this would be amazing.

For instances

-Structures
-Variety of Puzzles (Or Premade or custom what ever works)
-Enemy Spawns (so they can place enemies for difficulty of course)
-Event Timers (Example: on button press > trigger door(1))
-Text (So people can create notes to help you out, give hints or have the makers character talk to you)

More will be added shortly feel free to support by adding ideas and hopefully Three rings will see us I think this could
make for some very unique unofficial stories and and lore.

bit different tbh

It's one thing to say "open the editior. stop having it be closed", but it's another to have an editor built from the ground up with community editing in mind.

That just takes a lot of resources that can go into something else, like new levels sets, and would likely take a long time to make a reality. Regardless, letting people show off their creativity would be wonderful in level design.

There have been all sorts of level editor propositions, but I'm not aware of any other recent official posts on the subject; it's still an open subject, but the chances have always seemed slim.
