I shouldn't be the only one here who has complained or showed a "stun" look of how annoying and ridiculous the Gremlin Thwackers are. Literally the one monster that just drives me insane, literally only one attack which they hardly use, can only be canceled by one attack. YET the one they always use, the two part attack, just ignores being canceled unless you beat the Gremlin by knocking it down. All I can say is, even Mecha Knights, Devilites, Spookats, are tough monsters that just seem more fair to even fight against in hordes. Call me crazy, or that I am over exaggerating, but Gremlin Thwackers need a nerf.
Gremlin Thwackers: T2-T3
Why don't you play this instead. You wouldn't have to worry about widdle gremwin thwackers hurting your feelings.
Don't blame your incompetence on the game, get better. Zombies and Beasts had already been nerfed to toddler levels, we don't need another enemy nerfed to kill the game even more.
Pretty sure we can talk about game difficulty without comparing people to toddlers.
That's hardly the worst part about Thwackers. The worst part is when they dash towards you and then immediately use their 360 spin that takes half a second to charge, takes off a huge chunk of health, and applies ridiculous knockback. That's just not right.
Anyway, the best way I've found to deal with Thwackers is either wear them down with a shadow gun (just keep shooting, you'll hit them) or stay just outside of their range and only counterattack after they attack.
As rude as Bunduru sounds, xe's right. Thwackers are fine as they are; if you can't deal with them, lower the difficulty or practice more.

I still cry a little every time I see an Alpha Wolver attaking...
Thwackers being dangerous suits them. The only bad part about thwackers is their spin attack, which is darkfang exclusive. The spin attack hits hard, has a very short windup, high chance to stun, and incredible knockback. On top of that, it has no cooldown, making it possible to be spun into a corner and then immediately spin attacked again.
Everything else about thwackers is pretty fair, or at least offers a challenge that isn't terrible to go up against.
Kats get cancelled in the same way as gremlins, they just don't show the knock-down animation. For my practical purposes, mechs are pretty similar, since I avoid just running up to them and hoping my attacks cancel theirs.
Thwackers also have an axe-throwing attack that causes stun, and a spin attack (and the dodging behavior).
I personally have never had a great deal of trouble dealing with thwackers, they're very similar to mecha knights for me - I just spam charge attacks/use guns.
Pretty sure this belongs in suggestions.
