Why is it that sometimes attacks won't outright kill when it should? Sometimes, when I'm in Vana, a Slag will knock me from 100% to 70% or something like that. But when I'm at around 5-10% and get jumped by one, I still survive it somehow. Is there a reason for this? I've seen it happen for years now, but just recently became curious as to why that happens or if it will always happen. Thanks.
How come you survive hits even when you have super low HP?
Yep. It's just a weird rule of the game. It's existed as long as I can remember (since the game launched in April 2011, I think).
There's actually a bit more to it. I have read something about it on the wiki not too long ago. It says there is some "minimum value" of HP that can trigger this effect, probably depending on your armour. Also, it is possible you end up with 1% HP after getting hit with no visible red color in your HP bar (it appears to be empty). I've got no idea if this happens because damage you recieved wasn't lethal or if it is another instakill barrier.
If you have full health you lose like 3-5 bars depending on the deffence
On low hp you lose lower hp because game doesn't want you to die faster.
Its like giving you a chance for a living.
Yeah there is this "Sonic" feature where if you have more than one bar of health you can take any amount of damage and survive with one bar of health. This excludes statuses I think. So if you have 2 bars of health and get jumped by a slag you will survive with one bar.
