The dreaded missing steam login option bug

Its happened to many players back then, Some not even knowing what to do, and some coming here for guidance.

Im sure many of you steam-knights have had this bug happen to you before. The dreaded "Missing Steam Login Button" bug.

IDK how long this bug has been in the game but i gotta know, what causes this and have any attempts to permanently patch this?

this bug didnt happen to me BTW, it happened to a friend though. Which is why this thread is here.

Hera? Cronus? maybe you guys could shine some light on this?

Its not an SK issue, its a Steam issue. If you completely exit steam and restart steam or restart your computer then it should fix it.
