Ok, since I literally can't find this issue anywhere else...
No, it doesn't say "Java (TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working".

This is a long going issue, that was never solved. Now I want to try again, because I loved playing this game.
Ever since I downloaded Windows 10, certain games don't work; they "play", where I get the loading or update screen (in SK's case, the "launching..." window) then goes away, but it doesn't actually play or anything. No black empty window, not even an error explicitly saying that it failed or anything. I see that Java(TM) Web Launcher and Java (TM) Platform SE Binary are actually running in the Task Manager (the latter gets multiple instances if I keep selecting the App/ hit Play Game).

This is the same for any version; Download, Browser, Steam, name it. I already did things like deleting/reinstalling both game and Java, checked both 32x and 64x versions of Firefox (and other browsers), checked if plugins were activated, changed Properties to run as Windows 7 (and 8), updated and checked Drivers, and other obvious functions.

At this point, I honestly just want closure on this dumb issue; just a definite answer to give this "disease a name to comprehend", so to speak. It's only this and a few other games; I can run games like Elsword, Owlboy, EBF3/4, online flash games, and independent games, like Undertale, Mother: Cognitive Dissonance and Iji (y'all should try Iji. It did pacifism before Undertale :Y ).

(Games with similar issue - Salt & Sanctuary, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Hyper Light Drifter, some others I can't recall)

Fixed

I got it to work by downloading the version of java that spiral knights starts with, its Java SE Runtime Environment 6u25 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-dow... after replacing it with the 64bit version it worked. Hope it does for you too

Nope, no good. I also tried redownloading both 64x and 86x Visual C++, still nothing.
