Well it isn't hard to build wolver gear or gunslinger gear... both feature pierce resists...
Are ppl really complaining about this? I mean, yeah we all got used to doing just shadow / element resists, but pierce isn't exactly hard to itemize for :\
You don't ''need'' those things, but it makes it more efficient.
Also, you died so you didn't prove anything.

You're right, of course. I should not be happy or excited about anything I do. Being excited is suboptimal.
I once took Jelly King with only a Magma Driver and the usual phials (Curse / Poison) without dying once. It took me like ~3 minutes and when i finished i was like "what the hell, wasn't it supposed to be impossible to kill him without proper dps?". I think i was sporting there the 3* Gunslinger Set but i'm not too sure.
On the other hand i've been butchered many times in random PUGs because people instead of attacking run around and kill the jellies and i'm like the only one who deals damage.
Heck, I'm impressed you were able to beat him at all using that shield. I love the Scarlet shield but it's 'suboptimal'. Lolz. I think it's probably better to be really aggressive and potentially get killed a couple of times than be overly cautious; if you run out of vials it may become very difficult to finish the fight. Those curse vials in particular seem to make the difference when I fight him. (Leveling a Faust right now...)

For a second, I thought there was going to be a way to beat King Jelly without the use of Curse, Poison, Shock, Fire etc. etc.
Wake me up again when a team of knights with 2* equipment beats him without deaths and status effects.
Don't get all butthurt about not being allowed to be excited or happy.
However, you made a thread proclaiming how you don't need the right gear... to what? Die twice? If you die at all it's a failed solo. I did this in 3* gear solo without revives. Granted it was my second solo attempt, but everyone knows it's all about the vials, and a bit of luck with the mini-jellies. You haven't proven anything except that you call a success where others call it a failure. Who are you trying to inspire?
You're wearing 5* gear. You would have done better with 4* pierce resist.
