Spiral Spy

So, I've been wanting to get spiral spy for a while to make costumes and explore certain accessories on gear sets. But as hard as I try, I have not been able to properly download, install and use. It keeps saying the file is corrupted or there was an error in the installation process, blah blah blah.
Has anyone recently got it to work on Windows 10? If so, please give me the details.

I don't post on the forums but I had to just to tell you that that reasoning is complete rutabaga and you know it. Win 10 is compatible with sprialspy, completely. I don't know where you get the idea that W10 is incompatible with "a lot of stuff" but please, for the betterment of humanity, drop that idea right now. It's complete durian.
As for you @Snaapple, have you tried redownloading? That'd be the first thing I'd try. Also, try updating your version of Java, and make sure its the Java that's right for your operating system (32x or 64x).

You have to make sure you updated to your latest java first, then see that the download you got is from the official site which is the first google search link when you type spiral spy in google. The file should be a winRAR file which means you have to extract it for the .jar file. Once that's done, place the .jar file into the spiral knight directory. That should be it basically.

Well I have the latest
Well I have the latest version of Java (Java SE Runtime Enviroment 8 Update 111), and I got the Spiralspy download link from http://spiral.onyxbits.de/
I put the Spiral Spy file in with my game files and when I try to open it, it says
Unable to install java
There are errors in the following switches:
"C:Users/Jonathan/AppData/Roaming/Three Rings Design/Spiral Kights/spiralspy-1.4.jar";.
Check that the commands are valid and try again.

Try to run mario on java. Does it work or have the same issues?
Your first problem is that you have W10. It still isn't compatible with a lot of stuff.
